why do boomers sperg out whenever I suggest the most surface level aspects of psyops and propoganda?

I've had boomers flip their shit and call me a conspiracy theorist just for saying that most advertisements are trying to sell you something you don't need

Because admitting that something you trust[ed] might be untrustworthy does two things:
1) Imposes on you a responsibility to critically evaluate it as potentially unreliable going forward, which is a chore
2) Requires you to confront the fact that not only may you have been fooled (which makes you feel stupid and angry), but depending on how deeply you've internalized these compromised sources your entire worldview or even identity might be based on bullshit and nonsense. This is typically a traumatic thing to have happen to people, so they'll take great pains to avoid it

Be thankful they are dying because the lucid ones are differing all levels of thinking to basic llms

This is one of the most important factors in human behavior that few ever consider.

It takes cock and balls to admit your wrong on the most basic level
Nobody likes being red in the face saying "yeah my bad"
Thst generation seemingly has this superhuman level of stomping thar feet and claim the sky is green and the grass is blue
Id respect it if it didnt kneecap my race and generation
