I worked with them at a ranch hand job I had, the amount of water that comes out of any of the holes is unpredictable, one hole will barely drip and the next will gush so much ground near it will be constantly waterlogged, and the material that is supposed to seal the holes does not last long so they either drip progressively less or more, they are a pain in the dick to install, and need to be replaced often because of the aforementioned issues, and it isnt cheap either. you get much more mileage from laying down a thick layer of hay and running regular sprinklers.
