Media sells the trust of the audience to interest groups.This is used for politically beneficial agenda in corporate media. Youtubers and streamers usually just use their trust for endorsements on stuff "they themselves use" to get you to buy stuff.I think this is why corporate media never provides evidence for their claims (such as linking scientific papers they talk about and other stuff). They want your trust because that is what they sell.
Thus, don't put this kind of trust in media figures in the first place
