COVID ended up saving my life, but now it feels like the rise of AI is slowly destroying it. I enrolled in university back in 2017, but I barely took it seriously. I skipped a lot of classes, my grades tanked, and at one point my GPA dropped below 2.0. I spent most of my time partying, drinking, and doing reckless things, do drugs do cocaine do meth just typical teenage self-destruction. After two years I dropped out. In 2019 I applied for a janitor job, unironically, and earned about €1900 after taxes. Honestly, that felt like the lowest point of my life; being a janitor at 19 felt like rock bottom.

Then COVID hit a few months later. I re-enrolled at a different university and switched majors to Information Systems. Things finally started going well. Online classes made everything easier, I did well on exams, and my GPA improved a lot.

But now it feels pointless. With AI taking over so many roles, it seems like all the effort I put into rebuilding my life and education might mean nothing. Sometimes I feel like my life would have been simpler if I had just stayed a janitor.

Sounds like you don't have any plan at all.

Check out MJ DeMarco's book "The Millionaire Fastlane". It's one of the few business books worth reading.
