From what I understand the argument is we need immigrants for medical work and farming. I'm pretty retarded and I may be over simplifying but won't there be less need for these goods and services to be produced if there are fewer people who need/consume them?For exampleLet's say you have a staff of 5 doctors and four are native and one is foreigner and 30 people in the waiting room of the ER. Now lets say 20 of the people in the ER waiting room are native, and 10 are foreigners. If you remove all foreigners doctors and patients, there will be less resources used and less need for doctors since there are fewer people who need their services. Each doctor going from six patients each to five.
