Whatever happened to this? The offshore Crimean fields aren’t even explored and there’s probably Saudi tier amounts of oil. That’s why both the west and Russia want it.
Once Russia has more land and oil, they'll be a wealthy superpower instead of a poor shithole. Lack of land and oil is the main reason they're a shithole now after all.
