Just going to say it right now. Not going to say that they were perfect, but they were misunderstood in world war II. I don't know why the United States decided to fight them instead of fighting communists. Also, I had a phase around 8 to 10 years old where I was obsessed with old world war II Japanese military iconography. Obviously I'm not Japanese but it was compelling. I had friends with obsessions over ancient Egypt or Greece. Na, for me it was Imperial Japan. I believe a lot of those war crimes were exaggerations while they did happen. I don't believe in the cartoonish narrative that the Japanese were that evil. They were no different than Germany, the USSR Britain or the US

The reason why the Japanese are now able to rejoin the international community is because of their good deeds during World War II, when they eradicated the Dutch, French, and British, races that should not have existed in Asia :3
