>>522539661This is semi true though. Most of the jobs AI will reduce are mindless busy work and slop content. It is labor sure, but it's not super high skilled stuff, but it's things a lot of the laptop class pretends is more involved than it is.Furthermore, workflow automation is wiping out as many or more of these jobs than AI. But it's boring to normies, so they don't know what it is or talk about it.The bigger concern with AI and the job market is how it pulls up the ladder on entry level positions.People with 10 years, or at least 5 years, experience using AI is like a massive power up.But the fresh out of school applicants are even more so dead weight now than they were before. Generalizing of course, but most don't know enough to be useful even with AI. Meanwhile more senior people are busy in a rush right now either building bigger more complex projects at work, or learning outside of work with the help of AI. The last thing they want to do right now is lose time trying to train entry level people.

>>522541224I see Trump lending government support to AI as proof that he is at least trying to do something. It's the future whether people like it or not. Letting it fail right now would be absolutely catastrophic.
>accomplishes nothingUSaid is no more retard. So the democrats lost all their funding.
But why is Section 8 and SNAP going away? I thought Musk was gone?
