Why is it so rare to call Trump a narcissist? I get that there's a lot more wrong with him and what he does beyond just that, but it's like the word changed meaning in the last 10 years. Now it more often gets used against people saying racism is bad. Is it because saying "bleeding heart liberal" doesn't say they're wrong and instead just concedes ethical ground and opposition to liberals and leftists requires a sort of malice and ill intent that's worse than the based tribal politics of the right? Leaving the conversation at "you're just saying that to elevate yourself" doesn't address the substance, it changes the conversation to unfalsifiable accusations.
