Why are governments ignoring the microplastics crisis?
My balls are plastic bro
Protect my balls!
>>522551911Gee I wonder how these microplastics plus many other chemicals are getting in the water supply.
Is this our aqueduct lead moment?
>>522551911Retarded non issue. Plastic is harmless.
so how does this affect the ovaries and eggs of women
>>522551911Because there is literally nothing that can be done about it. Microplastics have already contaminated the entire food chain top to bottom, its not a problem that can ever be fixed.
negative externality + corporate capturethey are paid by companies to do nothing about it because it would impede business
>>522552012retard
>>522551969No, the thing with plastic particles is that it is not very reactive and generally stable. It hasn't been in our balls for a year or two, it's been decades. It hasn't translated to a massive global health impact, bc the plastic just stays there, otherwise we would know already
>>522552012exactly, all one can do is wait for life to adapt eventually microorganisms will evolve that will be able to digest the plastics and that will be that
>>522552012That may not be true. Scientists have created bacteria that can biodegrade plastic. We can solve the problem by just banning single-use plastic on a planetary scale and dumping trillions of gallons of plastic-eating bacteria in the ocean. Of course this will require colonial administration of the entire third world.
>>522551966That's not how it happens but it sure as hell doesn't help. How are cops allowing this to happen?
>>522552083>It hasn't translated to a massive global health impactIt affects hormones and fertility you fucking idiot
>>522552012We could limit plastic use to industrial and not for food prep/preservation. Back to glass and paper. Is it worth killing billions to save 2% in profits for huge corporations? Lol

>>522552126I'm simply saying these are the people that have caused a majority of the microplastic problem across the world....well them and China as well. It's not even just plastic either a majority of pollution that ends up in the oceans and water come from India and China.
>>522552196think about shipping glass bottles vs plastic. the heavier glass will require more fuel. is burning more fuel more or less dangerous than the plastic bottles?i don't know but there is no free lunch
>>522551911What will people do when they realise it ain't the toothpaste. Or the flouride in the toothpaste. It's the toothbrush and the microscopic bits of plastic that break off and enter your body via your gums every single time you brush?
>>522552012>its not a problem that can ever be fixedI wouldn't say things like this so hastily. Sure we likely will not have the means in many decades or even hundreds of years, but there's no reason to assume it will never be possible. Those bonds in plastic molecules hold a lot of energy for bacteria to metabolize. Who's to say both flora and fauna in the future won't have genetically engineered symbiotic bacteria which eat the plastic?
>>522551911Your clothing? PlasticYour nonstick pan? PlasticYour shoes? PlasticYour food containers? Plastic.Every food you buy is wrapped with… plasticYour toothbrush head? PlasticYour water bottles? PlasticYour soda bottles? PlasticThe inside of your metal hot coffee container? Plastic. The inside of tin soda cans? PlasticYour fluffy/non-fluffy blanket? PlasticYour bedding? Might be plastic alsoPlastics are everywhere because kikes want to make easy money, plastic costs Pennies compared to other materials
>>522552211did they die?
>>522552297Is there an alternative to brushing without plastics?
>he has microplastics in his micropenis
>>522552548Toothpick. Wood. Gargle water.
>>522552012if you find yourself digging a hole to hell, what do you do?
>>522552126It's India. The cops don't do much besides hit busses with metal rods to get them moving.
>>522552654Not really an apt metaphor because jeets won't stop dumping plastic shit in the environment no matter what. You and your homies personally stopping won't make a dent on the rate of the hellhole deepening when there's over billion smelly brown pajeets shoveling happily downwards. This is an issue that can only be solved by cleansing the Indian subcontinent with nuclear fire.
>>522551911why would they do thatthey will be dead before it becomes a serious problem
>>522551911It's too profitable to do anything about it, and too late for anything other than extreme soil reclamation/cleansing accross the entire planet, which would destroy all the ecosystems we need to survive. Our only other option is to just stop using plastics entirely and wait a few thousand years for the worst of the contamination to finally break down. Fuck all you can do for the microplastic buildup in peoples bodies now except stop using plastic and hope it filters out generationally without causing permanent medical/birth defects. >>522551983Not all plastic is the same. Some plastics slowly oxidize in direct sun/high heat, and release trace carcinogenic gasses, some of it will take millions of years to break down, etc.

>>522552083>carcinogenic and hormonally polluting petrochemical end producslts totally aren't having health defects like the other products from those industries. Plastics not being handled the same way automotive/industrial petrochemicals are handled was a major missed steak.

Otherwise, wood toothpicks, mouthwash(if you can find it in a glass bottle)>>522552433There already is a bacteria and an algae that can eat microplastics, but they're sensitive to specific environments. They aren't going to be useful everywhere, and microplastics are everywhere at this point.
>>522552970perfect metaphor. you implied there is already microplastic, so we shouldnt stop it. that is dumb. it's not "on" or "off". there is a spectrum. much like your autism. you're dumb , gay, and retarded. kys nigger. the jeets have nothing to do with this, tho they need genocided as well.
>>522552960Its happening in western countries infested with them too.

Could be that old degraded plastics that rain on the fields in nanoparticle size are the most important part, or the nano-sized dust part of the foam mattress, or sloppa heated in plastics, or the polyester in socks. They can't even measure microplastics properly, because of DEI. From the bullshit I read, I'd say the major measures one can change are these:- Bamboo bristles toothbrush, the maker needs to guarantee they have no coating.- Hand dish washing, no plastic sponge, use cotton rags and a steel wire sponge. If you can find a stainless dishwasher, I'd like to see it.- No mixers or food processors, there are mechanical choppers that are stainless, but I haven't found a fully stainless electric chopper with a labyrinth seal.- Stainless and cast iron pans- Cotton and wool clothing- For the Americans: Don't wear shoes in your home.- Latex mattress, wrapped in 100% cotton and horse hair (hard to come by, they always try to sneak plastics in).- Do not heat food in plastic, teabags are a major contaminator of food, for example.- Fixed shower, no shower hose.- No carpets in the house.- Make your own sofas and seat upholstery, use latex and cotton or leather.- Use metal pipes for the water supply.- Use a water filter for the drinking water, but a good one, and use test kits to confirm that it doesn't shed itself.- Don't live near busy roads.- Don't buy an old car, the ducts are foam insulated and shed plastic dust after a few years.- Hepa filtered vacuum, often change it.- Rinse the raw food you buy.
>>522553964Taking fun of pajeets is fine, but posting pictures of pajeets taking a shit on pol is no better than if the pajeets were posting themselves taking a shit. You are a nigger, just like them.
>>522552118>release the organic-polymers-eating bacteriaWhat a great idea, they should do it actually
>>522553971I forgot to mention one thing the Americans do, because that's not a thing over here: Don't spray your home every other day with mystery chemical X, don't use chink paint and coating like a tard.Build with raw fire-treated or waxed (mind the source) wood, concrete, ceramics and steel. The household things will cost you ten hours a month and 10 to 20k to buy. Furniture, car and house are the most expensive things, house is practically unobtanium in America, can be done in Europe if you are rich.
>>522554098I don't think there's a choice. My biggest concern is that they can't measure the pollution pathway strength due to DEI, like they couldn't whip up a few decent infection experiments during Covid.
>>522552012It can definitely be fixed small scale, but for billions? No it can not be fixed for the masses.

>>522555557implying these are bad things
>>522551911They are aware of it.I am sure long term there will be increasing health effects from plastics accumulating in the brain. Most of these problems could be resolved by collecting plastic and incinerating it for electricity.I think Japan does this. Also bacteria are slowly evolving to break it down.

>>522551911The study was bunkThe amount of microplastics consumed was way off
>>522551911The whole World needs to switch to bioplastics like PLA.
>>522551911haven't you heard? we have paper straws now!no but seriously, the reforms would be very costly and we still dont have a great way to dispose of it yet. and even if we did it would be an inferior product, plastic is extremely useful, cheap and easily produced. Some solutions are obvious like switching to glass or cardboard where you can but if you regulate that you'll see some businesses being affected without having those sorts of solutions, so you're left with needing to incentivize businesses not to use plastics to be fair. but then you have to compete with dirt cheap plastic, so when you give tax breaks they are so big it costs too much. democracies invariably have parties that sit in parliament because they want to increase public spending, plastics are less enticing than welfare or free education etc.
>>522552211don't forget Nigeria, they are also massively polluting their water going into the ocean.
>>522551911nobody wants to clean up all that shit. I heard scientists are trying to bioengineer orgamisms that can break down plastic for us.What could possibli go wrong.
>>522559408there are some hilarious scenarios, but if we lock ourselves out of the tech because these bugs then we would be forced to find new solutions. how would we insulate our copper wiring for instance?

>>522559533The idea is to get it down so much that it doesn't fuck people up in the regular human lifespan. As I wrote above, there's a lot in the household that can be changed already, which would become cheap when scaled a bit.But it's not clearly known whether the plastics in the brain is really there, and if so, how it is ingested. The quite shitty tissue measurements point towards environmental degradation and therefore food, air and water. If that's the case, that's one hell of an expensive cleanup. On the other hand, the even more shitty food measurements show high amounts of small particles coming from packaging, handling and heating food.I haven't read anything about clothing and furniture yet.

>>522551911Because it's mostly harmful to men and too difficult (=expensive) to solve.
>>522559905I read part of the article you linked, and I wish we could have had many many more organs tested, because if their timespan was 2016-2024 and they could already see an increase this could be a dire threat to humanity depending on the effects this has on the body. I'm not so sure we'll do anything about it, the chinese and indians claim the right to industrialize and produce these things while the greens in the west readily buy the products. and even if we were to scale the production of plastics down, and scale up other solutions, this stuff is still found in the mountains of Afghanistan as well as the bottom of the Norwegian Sea (we had some researchers a few years back who checked) so how are we going to fix that? as to sources of contamination, I'm convinced we should switch to glass / paper / wood where we can again, that ones easy compared to the other things that we need to replace like car tires which are also ubiquitous. what bothers me is particularly milk, even if you got it in a glass bottle the cows are still milked through plastic tubes.
>>522552196The problem is more about plastic waste in oceans/waterways. Vehicle traffic and what cars/tires are made of. You breathe in more in a day than you eat by a large margin.
>>522552012>solution is hard so we should make it worse
>>522560620It looks a bit like sharp mechanical pressure spikes (like blenders, mills, glas on plastic threads) and heat are the things to avoid in food handling, so plastic cow tit hoses could be somewhat tolerable. But it's all DEI science, so who knows. If it's environmental degradation, cleaning up field soil and installing water filters would be a priority, I don't see how wild sea fish could be cleaned though. If you are from Norway, you are in a somewhat better position for this if it turns out to be one of the major upcoming extinction events.Personally, I only have a few select measures in place (toothbrush, no blending and grinding, only raw food ingredients, clothing, mattress, plan to buy a different sofa and a water filter, no road traffic nearby). I won't do more than that for now, it's just to uncertain still.
>>522553971most of these are excessive because they are not ingested or inhaledplastic cutlery and kitchenware, like cutting boards, and also plastic water bottles and caps are the biggest sources that acutally end up in your body
>>522561088> tit hoses could be somewhat tolerableI'm just making the point that it's everywhere in the chain from production to consumer, but you are of course right. I don't microwave things in plastic, wear wool, use cast iron etc. but it's a herculean task. >in a somewhat better position for this if it turns out to be one of the major upcoming extinction eventshow so? I'm looking out my window and everything is covered in snow. I'm genuinely curious because our degree of self sufficiency on a national level is abysmal and the fjord where I live has had it's fish population decimated from agrarian pollution (fertilizers that make algae blooms) and there's basically a lot of bad things happening to marine life now. also a pretty serious thing.> I won't do more than that for now, it's just to uncertain still.better safe than sorry, if you find anything out then let us know. we have some good anons on this site and following a lot of interesting things like the (actual) polack who follows the covid vaccines effect over time.
>>522555275
>>522561464>how so?Space to avoid city air, rich government, cultural fondness of wood & wool, but I'm comparing globally, so it's better than Guam, USA/India or China.>>522561088The amount of dust from a mattress or socks is quite impressive, but yes, food handling is a priority with current knowledge.
>>522551911>Why are governments ignoring the microplastics crisis?Because nobody cares about the environment except Whites, and White governments are run by boomers and kikes, and since their own testicles aren't filled with microplastics, it isn't their problem.
>New study on semen just dropped!
>>522553971>For the Americans: Don't wear shoes in your home. How do you expect them to sleep then?

I work in the UV sterilisation business and I have industry colleagues telling me UV and ozone can break down microplastics. Wonder if it's true and why it's not being talked about more when the internet is full of doom and gloom about "eternity particles".
>>522559533bacteria cant prosper on dry surfaces, unless youre in junglemonkey humidity it will be fine
>>522562171fair point>>522562156you should ask them how strong the UV needs to be for it to break it down just lying at ground level, or 1m below the oceans surface. I'm going to guess we'd have to wear a lot more sunscreen which ironically can contain plastics, and is in a plastic bottle
>>522562419This break down process would happen at a water treatment facility, not in the ocean water. So only water that is meant for human consumption. If you drink from the ocean or lakes I guess you are kinda screwed until we stop further microplastics contamination and all of Earth's water has passed through a treatment plant at least once...
>>522552211>I AM THE JUGGERNAUT SAAR

>>522562663Maybe I was a bit unclear about how it works. Today almost all drinking water in the developed West passes through a water treatment plant of some kind for disinfection. This is done with UV and chlorine (but chlorine is on the way out). What I am describing is adding another step of UV to get rid of microplastics, PFAS and even medication residue from the drinking water that comes out of your tap. The only issue is that the facilities already exist and would need to be rebuilt in some way to fit the additional equipment.
>>522562887sounds good generally but specifically is it even a solution to microplastics or just an mild-moderate improvement?
>>522562887The way things are going, that thing will need some serious power. Else you'd end up with 1000x more harmful nanoplastics.
Does that mean we are technically cyborgs?
>>522552196Microplastics don't "kill billions." At worst they shave a few years off your life expectancy.
>>522563582close enough
>>522552295How it used to work was that production was a lot more distributed to save on shipping cost. So instead of coca cola having maybe 11 bottling plants in the USA (numbers are hard to find here) They'd have multiple in every state. Each city would have one specifically to service said city and larger towns would have one to service them and surrounding communities. The glass bottles would typically stay in a geographically isolated area
>>522563660No that's a pretty sizable difference. If something is going to kill me by 40, it's a problem that needs to be solved. If something will kill me at 78 instead of 83, who cares? I'd rather live 78 years with modern conveniences than 83 years like a caveman.

I worked for a very short time at Sherwin Williams paint applicator factory in Crisfield, MD. Crisfield is a major seafood hub and is considered the "blue crab capital" of the world. High tide makes roads in town start to flood. At this factory they make brushes and rollers. The rollers are made by extruding the plastic core, applying glue and rolling fabric. It is all done in one machine at one time which is a pretty amazing process. The plastic extrusion portion of this machine is the first part to set up and the most likely to go down. You end up with a lot of extra plastic core at the end of every night. It gets ground down and either reused or thrown away. It goes outside in giant bins that are usually leaking or uncovered. Wind in Crisfield never gets below 30mph so I bet MINIMUM 10lbs a day of finely ground plastic makes it in the Chesapeake bay. The plant opened in 1966 so if they were doing rollers the whole time thats a 1/4 million pounds. In 1997 the state performed an environmental assessment and determined there were no environmental hazards. They are now classified as a "formerly investigated site" with no further action planned. We knew nothing about microplastics in 1997. MD charges to much taxes to not inspect a facility for 28 years. I watched Sherwin piss away more money than it would cost to fix the problem. There are "Sherwin-like" companies in every single industrial park of every town in the country. Thanks to Perdue the stream 100ft from my well is off the charts with PFAS.

>>522551911There is no microplastic crisis, there's an untermensch crisis.
>>522551911because the financial elite and government executives of the entire planet are part of a death cult trying to turn the earth into mars
>>522551911Theoretically, each time you break down a recycled product (like bottles), would it not break down finer and quicker each cycle?
>>522565887>oil is le dinosaursAmerimexcrement educayshon at its finest.
>>522551911It's over. Humanity fucked itself to death.
>>522551911Governments are niggers.
>>522552126Go up fagot. Cops aren't your allies here are the only reason they exist at all is to protect the Jewish State and enforce their unnatural law and order.
>>522566178Like the paint in my clothing? Or just buildings and cars because of the surface sizes?>>522567244I like that your tism made you estimate that.>>522568153They'd deny that, but it's obvious, an emergent bad spirit made up of thousands of defective minds full of greed and tunnel vision.

>>522551911That would be like complaining about the air quality in a house fire lol. It's obviously likely no one in Government cares, if they even know.
>>522551911Same reason as all the other fucked up shit that happens. The businesses that output pollution have people embedded in the regulatory agencies. Just found out about the Teflon cancer + birth defect stuff yesterday. They had corporate lawyers from Dupont graduating to high-ranking positions at the EPA.
>>522551911Because they fully intend to kill everyone and replace them with AI robots. All games they play before that can be achieved are simply to keep the peasants ignorant of that fact and prevent them from violently overthrowing their slaughterhouse overseers
>>522551911They aren't ignoring it they created it.They forced plastics into every ones lives, they outlawed alternatives, made it cheaper to flood in plastics and made reusable things almost impossible with regulations, taxes ect.Apparently microplastics are building up inside the human brain and causing dementia like symptoms.Micro plastics is the lead petrol of our timeThanks Jews.
>>522552295>think about shipping glass bottles vs plastic. the heavier glass will require more fuelBut we are also using up petroleum to manufacture all this plastic shit. It will honestly be much better for the world if oil actually runs out. We are in a temporary inflection period of borrowed capabilities.
>>522565099We are all the ultimate winners at the end of the day
>>522551911My wife's pregnant with our fourth kid. Perhaps the microplastics are making my seed more potent?
>>522573432When's the last time you tried pinching your child's skin?
>>522551911When I was a little boy my parents gave me toothpaste with plastic beads in it. I remember being concerned about it and asking what happens to the beads, no adult in my life had that amount of foresight.
>>522552548Implying your plumbing isn't plastic.
>>522551911Because it would cost too much money to stop using plastics and money is more important than humanity to the demonic forces running the world.
