NATO is unable to mobilize. Russia is currently winning a war against Ukraine and NATO without mobilizing. Russia's MIC is outproducing the entirety of NATO in all munitions categories. None of their factories work nights or weekends, and all of their combatants are volunteers. If Russia decided they were in danger, they could instantly double all production and 10x their available manpower from their currently trained conscripts.

Europe is energy dependent on Russia. Russia has air defenses and hypersonics and massive drone programs. NATO has none of those. Russia can rapidly cut all of Europe's atlantic internet cables, which would cause the internet to shit itself in NATO countries, whose infrastructure was never hardened for wartime. Russia recently finished preparing for exactly that scenario.

Russia's assistence is critically important to the safe deorbiting of the ISS. Without Russia's cooperation, or with their sabotage, it will leave a 1,000 mile debris field on the United States.

If European countries send their currently trained soldiers to Ukraine, they will run out of manpower in several months. That's just going by the rate at which Ukraine has lost it's entire trained military (multiple times per year).
