Its most students its a day care facility run by a big cargo cult of people trying to make everyone do the proper education rituals. The students learn how to perform the rituals and that's it. People might give a bit of a shit at first but realize that they can't figure out what the goal of the system actually is and that its better to just learn how to avoid getting an F.Parents assume the teachers are there to figure out how to get their kid to an A somehow and a lot fo them remember just going to school and just going through the motions and figuring it out and eventually graduating, assuming they even did. They don't know how to involve themselves with their kids education in any way, all the topics are taught differently and most parents don't understand what the assignments even are for or how to instill a commitment to studying in their child. There's a small group of people who do well and its mostly because they're both smart, have parents to take their education seriously and know how to get help from teachers.
