They won't. It's the same story in every western country.The countryside is emptying out. Secondary cities empty out. Hospitals, banks, jobs, all close, only retirees stay there. The few young people rush to the capital and a few cities because it's the only place with jobs, so real estate skyrockets.Our economies don't produce anything anymore, there is no labor intensive industry or agriculture. We only have services, and services need people. So everyone moves where the people are. Countryside in Greece, Bulgaria, Spain, Southern France, is empty, it's a wasteland.It's the age of internet and remote information technology yet we have to move into city-states to have any services in our lives.
