You have to pay extra for that optional coverage. So there are very real cases where you can have auto insurance, get hit by a drunk nigger who is uninsured, and your insurance will outright deny to cover you. So really you're helping my case with this hypothetical. But I'll answer your question - yes, I would be okay in that scenario with not having insurance and having to cover the cost of a replacement vehicle myself. Because again, my solution of setting aside money each month would help to cover that cost. And in any event, I'm not some at risk driver who drives late at night in bad parts of town where drunk, uninsured niggers are driving.
