Look at your brother's current credit card statements. People who rack up debt usually have persistent habits.

Dude, you spent money that you Borrowed, pay it back! If you can't and you already made the mistake of overspending... fair enough, it happens, unfortunately, declare bankruptcy and pay the toll.

Don't do it again.

I know scumbags steal and cheat and lie... in society and it sucks, but you signed an agreement and stick to it.

Here’s a template on how to SUE collection agencies!

CERTIFIED MAIL - RETURN RECEIPT]

Re: Account #[XXX]
FDCPA Violations - Demand for Payment

Dear [Agency],

This letter serves as formal notice of your violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), 15 USC 1692.

Documented Violations:

1. [Date] at [Time]: Called before 8:00 AM
Violation: 15 USC 1692c(a)(1)
Statutory Damages: $1,000

2. [Date] at [Time]: Called after cease request
Violation: 15 USC 1692c(c)
Statutory Damages: $1,000

3. [Date]: Threatened legal action without intent
Violation: 15 USC 1692e(5)
Statutory Damages: $1,000

Total Statutory Damages: $3,000
Plus actual damages, attorney fees, and court costs

I have recorded all calls and maintained detailed logs.

Settlement Offer:
To avoid litigation, I will accept $1,500 as payment in full for these violations and deletion of the alleged debt from all credit reports.

You have 15 days to respond before I file suit in federal court.

I am also filing complaints with:
- CFPB
- State Attorney General
- FTC
- BBB

Sincerely,
[Your name]

The secret sauce:
- Always mention attorney fees (they panic)
- Reference specific USC codes (shows you're serious)
- Give them an out for less than maximum (they'll take it)

They buy debt for 2 cents on the dollar
Paying you $1,500 to go away is cheaper than court

Lol, fucking sinister advice, immagine giving up US Citizenship for anything... anyway, I am laughing because I actually know an idiot who took a shit ton of cash from all his avelable credit and ran off back to the Balkans!

That did not last long though, he returned and worked away paying every single penny back.

I don't mind people Saving up and leaving, but apparently shit ton of pakijeets steal credit then run. I say, take the cash just leave snd fuck off, I can't eben be mads at pakijeets for doing it, every time I hear one left I get thankful and happy. lol

That should not be possible... not how our system works unless you were operating as a business, someone stole my identity and racked up 64,000.00 of cc debt and I ignored it for 2 decades straight, just put a whitelist app on my phone and then debt collectors couldn't call or text me to collect, If your really in the US that's all they can legally do. I eventually got annoyed clearing my blocked call notifications and filed for chapter 7. won. debt discouraged. fast forward 2 years and some nigger streetshitter bought my debt, tries to garnish my income (they don't serve you papers to do this they call a judge in your state / city and the they authorize it without notifying you), jeet cant garnish cause my money is protected under DAC. I called him and mocked him and his family at his "business" every day so hard he would chimpout and spam call my blocker 79 times in an hour almost daily I continued to do this until he killed himself.

Throw away said cards and change address and phone number.
When they track you down do again wash rinse repeat.
Play dumb, play poor.
If that doesn't work, move to a different state or declare bankrupcy and wipe the slate clean and do it to those fags again.
Social security isn't going to be around because of what these fag banksers done with the money printing to get their bailouts.

Thats what these fucking corporations and banks will do to you back if the shoe was on the other foot.

You're supposed to keep mailing them a pittance every month so you can show good faith effort or whatever in court
Then you settle for around the original amount loaned
I haven't even done this yet
I think I'd probably do it right before leaving the country if I could get ~100k

>>522609606
Does it have a court day? If not, it’s not “getting served.” They’ve been doing this shit recently and my sister got suckered in. It’s all shit. Tell them you’ll pay 10% of the total debt, and if not, tell ‘em fuck off and ignore them.
>>
>>522609606
> As with other debt collection law firms like Weltman, Weinberg & Reis, or Ras Lavrar, Zwicker & Associates does not usually own the debts they collect on. Therefore, they will not appear as a creditor on your credit report. However, any payments made to Zwicker & Associates should be reported by the original creditor.

OP, is it these assholes? I know how to deal with them. Just confirm or not.

>>
>>522611597
Wrong leaf. The CC company made an investment, sometimes investments go to zero, that's the risk they signed up for. No individual is under any moral obligation to repay a corporation if they so choose.

>>
>>522609606
HAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA KIKES WILL RAPE YOU TO DEATH NOW
>>
>>522609606
>ohnooo i got sent some paper
they literally can't do shit to you even with those papers
>>
>>522609606
Typically they only sue if they think you actually have the money to pay. If you're actually poor, show up to court, show proof you're destitute, and they'll likely drop it for the time being. Or try calling them before the court date and see if they'll drop the case against you "until I have income again".
I owe close to $30k and no one has tried suing me because they can't find any evidence of income. Chase recently offered to settle for 14% of what I owe. I might have settled with them if I actually had any money but I don't. That's the key to all of this. You can't actually have anything if you want to truly get away with debtmaxxing.
Since you got legal paper, you really should do something. If you simply ignore it, the judge will enter a default judgement against you. Once that happens, they can go after your bank account, physical assets, and paycheck... if you have any of those.
>>
>>522609606
If you have no job you can probably ignore them. Can't garnish wages if you don't receive any. Unless you declare bankruptcy you'll basically have to dodge debt collectors for however long it takes the debt to become unrecoverable. That's 6 or 7 years here but no idea what it is in America.
>>
>>522610361
Same here. Still, if a person gets a court date, it's still best to show up rather than get a default judgement as you might someday have assets.
>>
>>522622306
The statute of limitations on debt varies by state and debt type. For credit cards, it usually ranges between three and seven years. But if you get a judgement against you, usually because you didn't show up for court, that can be renewed until the day you die. Always show up for court.
>>
>>522622658
Fair enough. What generally occurs if someone shows up for court and the judge determines they are judgement proof due to having no income, savings or assets?
>>
>>522622262
>Chase recently offered to settle for 14% of what I owe
Couldn't you just agree to a payment plan for the $4000 over a number of years or will they only accept a lump sum?
>>
>>522609606
So how do I debtmaxx most efficiently? As you can see, I’m in an untouchable jurisdiction for my US creditors. I’ve got over 100k in current revolving credit lines and a very high credit score. Here was my current plan:
>go to Dubai
>get personal loans and send the funds out so they eventually end up here
>buy a ton of precious metals on my cards
>sell said PMs (or keep them, really) and take whatever loss I make
>debt consolidation loan
>repeat the process on my cards, probably won’t qualify for a new personal loan
>repeat until I cannot
>take the cash back here, claim it at the airport (tax free for foreigners, believe it or not)
>file for bankruptcy
>>
>>522622189
I would pump alig shots into them it's all signature loans and credit and I. Pretty much just claiming force majeure due to that dumbass retard Elon muskrat and Trump's sons fucking me sideways when he took over
>>
>>522622889
In England, that isnt a wise move to pull. If the creditor or DCA goes for a CCJ, its because they think the amount is worth it, and they stand a good chance of winning the case. I'm not saying you can't beat it (uncompliant CCA for example depending on the type of debt), but its getting serious. You should agree a DMP before going to court for the lowest amount possible.

CCJ's are exempt from becoming statue barred. So bailiffs will be following you around all your life until they recover the debt and your credit files will be ruined indefinitely until you resolve it + 6 years. What are you going to do, live as a neet for the rest of your life...No official income, no TV, no car, no fridge freezer, no computer, playing cat and mouse with some cunt that wants to gain access to where you're living.
