The problem with "defending the West" is that the West is shit too.A lot was achieved in its history, philosophy, art, science, supreme orientation. But let's be honest, in the last century that was reduced to soly cold technological advances, and for that you just need IQ and Koreans have that just as much.It's important to "save", preserve, the history of what was. But I don't want to talk myself into saving something that doesn't stand out for many many decades.It's not demoralization if it's reasonable.It's the same with birth rates. Yes we gotta dupe people into making babies, we need it for the economy, for our pensions. But it's just a primitive instinct and rational not to do. We want to brainwash the populus to reproduce workforce, but there's no point in shilling your friend that he will oh like it so much and it's oh so natural and fulfilling. Heritage glorifying bronze age natsoc aestetic posting is delusional, it's clearly not worth the effort. It's also not a counter-argument to just say "oh good, the cuck who tings reproducing is a meme will not reproduce." Can we be honest to ourselves for once and leave out the coping. Making babies was always just cultural pressure. Women were given the right to act rationally - think of that what you will - and now they do. Rationally isn't the only metric but irrationality is not something you'd recommend to your friend, I hope.

The west doesn't exist anymore. The rituals, whether religious or national and secular mean nothing because you must preserve not only the ideas behind them but the type of logic and thinking necessary to arrive at their function within society. That's been stripped away and has for a long time. You've been drifting aimlessly as a result as you have no heritage to remember or at least none that is important and can hold up to your modern thought processes. You've outgrown their needs but are too fearful to take the great leap forward. Elites realize this and are attempting to drag you, kicking and screaming, into the new era but you cling to the dead fantasies of your ancestors that can never be brought back. Unending progress through scientific means is the only way forward. Materialism is the only hard truth. Metaphysics is for the weak and cowardly. Transhumanism will solve all problems but even if it didn't it, it is the unaviodable future.

You are correct - women were given the choice, and now we see the effects of that choice. With about 8.3 billion on the planet, eventually we will see a decline as birth rates decline everywhere except for a few holdout places.Also, as for preserving history, everything fades, and it's up to people to carry the torch. But what that actually means is that we see what people want us to remember, and not the more unappealing or inconvenient aspects of history that they don't want you to know about.

In the same way your pre-modern ancestors would be horrified to see their progeny building great pyramids and cities, signaling the end of their world (and ideals) and the next leap forward so we find ourselves in the same position. We stand at the precipice, the end of culture and the metaphysical. Shedding the skin of modern man on the long journey to becoming our own gods. Take solace in the fact that you never had a choice.
