How the fuck is every PC component getting sold out/shortage. This is fucking insane.
>>
Once the gloves come off for WW3 and China realizes its next after Russia goes, the walls are going to go up, predomiantly around international borders, and then "buying a computer" is going to be the difference between life and death because without one you won't be able to connect to Jewish 666 Baphomet's blue hydra.

And so basically people are scalping up all the computers on planet. Everything you need for the next 50 years. Take what you think you need, multiply it by 10, and then double it.
>>
>>523211638
Niggers panic buying nvme cause of RAM fearmongering
while in reality hdds are fine for 90% of your data, you need ssd/nvme speeds for system games and whatever shit you work on.
>>
>>523211638
It's a miracle of the modern world that you can access high-end computer hardware, global communications, and military-grade encryption on an everyday basis. There are powerful people that despise the status-quo.

Manufacturers (read: jews) have decided that scarcity is more profitable
>>
>>523211638
When do we get the actual benefits of AI? Why are all of the externalities just being pushed to the working class? It's just one big fuck you after another without any government stepping in to relieve people. And the result of all of this is just going to be jews getting more advanced ways to monitor and control the goyim while dangling keys of "muh artists muh moving pictures" for common people to finklethink at each other about while life just gets worse and worse for all people.

weirdly enough if you just pretend that scarcity doesn't exist and dump infinite money into something you start to run into shortages
the hilarious thing is that trump's admin is so fucking stupid and inept I don't think they considered that despite your willingness to throw infinity dollars at the AI corporations, there's still an upper limit on how many parts are currently in circulation, and how many can be built per year

if the AI catfuck fails because they drained the market of RAM, GPUs, and SSDs with nothing to show for it other than gay Coke ads, erotic roleplay sex chatbots, and internet spy algorithms I'm going to laugh my ass off

it'll be the end of the dollar and the US, but that'll just make me laugh more

imagine suiciding your currency because you're so technologically inept you thought some computer chips and electricity could honestly replace white ingenuity and grit

If technology can't catch up to AI demand, what should we expect ?
>>
>>523212337
Thats actually not true you just dont know enough about computers. Theres secondary specifications that are important to know like for a hard drive it has a response time, and it impacts absolutely everything you do by a microlag. I call it a hard drive but obviously it should be SSD NVME. Ram has hz and also its 30 34 whatever rating, and theres a mathematical equation to figure out if your ram is mismatched to other parts. It can be less than idea, which means your computer will suck despite spending 1k on it. If your cooler is dogshit, or your case even, thatl lower the length of your parts because of a chemical principal that says it degrades faster with heat, significantly faster.

And these are the same people I was going schizo on in 2014 when I first started using BLAST and WEKA and some other machine learning algorithms and realized "oh shit you could definitely use this shit in theory to control and track everyone without them even knowing"
like it's horrifying to watch something I predicted a decade ago as the worst case scenario come to fruition

>Y.T.'s mom pulls up the new memo, checks the time, and starts reading it. The estimated reading time is 15.62 minutes. Later, when Marietta does her end-of-day statistical roundup, sitting in her private office at 9:00 P.M., she will see the name of each employee and next to it, the amount of time spent reading this memo, and her reaction, based on the time spent, will go something like this:
>Less than 10 min.: Time for an employee conference and possible attitude counseling.
>10-14 min.: Keep an eye on this employee; may be developing slipshod attitude.
>14-15.61 min.: Employee is an efficient worker, may sometimes miss important details.
>Exactly 15.62 min.: Smartass. Needs attitude counseling.
>15.63-16 min.: Asswipe. Not to be trusted.
>16-18 min.: Employee is a methodical worker, may sometimes get hung up on minor details.
>More than 18 min.: Check the security videotape, see just what this employee was up to (e.g., possible unauthorized restroom break).
>Y.T.'s mom decides to spend between fourteen and fifteen minutes reading the memo. It's better for younger workers to spend too long, to show that they're careful, not cocky. It's better for older workers to go a little fast, to show good management potential. She's pushing forty.
>She scans through the memo, hitting the Page Down button at reasonably regular intervals, occasionally paging back up to pretend to reread some earlier section. The computer is going to notice all this. It approves of rereading. It's a small thing, but over a decade or so this stuff really shows up on your work-habits summary.

They already had enough data centers specifically for this case and more being built in tandem with many having room set aside for all government agencies. The grift doesn't work if you lose the country to partisans and third position politics. We are already in fiscal dominance, what a country does when it's on the ropes financially and paying off credit cards with credit cards. A transitional government will take an axe to all of this if they get anything close to a majority because it's fucked everyone so hard association is poison to reputation. They also did not protect the lifeblood of the data centers in a meaningful way and retrofitting fortifications is something that can only be accomplished with money they don't have.

For example retails are now using ai to judge a users spending habits and change the price accordingly, not just amazon, but your supermarket also now .. different prices for the same item in the same store for different customers who are binned like chips into segregated baskets.

dependant on insulin .. cha-ching .. you are going to pay more.

no, you stupid, ignorant motherfucker.

Unless you sell, it is worth exactly the same value to you.

It is worth more to people who don't already have a computer. You will not benefit from the increase in price unless you sell it, but you can't and wont sell it because they you wont have a computer.

Your only option to be a "winner" is to downsize to a cheaper computer and hope that you never need that computing power ever again, because going up is now very expensive.

HDDs are still widely used and far cheaper in price than SSDs for the amount of data they can store. Lot of companies go a step further and use magnetic cassette tapes. For standard data storage/retrieval you still get way better value with a massive HDD and the benefits of solid state are lost on things that don't require fast I/O like operating systems or gaming.
>>
>>523218566
I'm really not. Biggest problem is being overly frugal to the point of judaism.
The ssds don't last and will loose data after a couple years. If there's ever an issue you can't do data recovery like you can on a mechanical drive with head replacements etc.
Your standard SSD also doesn't use the good chips so has a very limited number of read/writes

Anyone doing real shit is using a mechanical HDD. You on the other hand, are a soiboi craving bing bing whahoos

I agree to a point

if you can buy a used HP workstation you get a really well built machine.

I bought a used Z840 with dual cpu for £800 during the great coof lockdown, and 2 p6000 gpu to go in them for £900 from the same seller on ebay .. a bargin at the time .. I added 256 gb of ECC memory for another £400 and I have a very capable machine .. could I get better now for that money ? sure .. but that's computers for you. I will say it seem far less attractive to buy used high end gear these days .. the value is no longer there.

They just know most English speakers will take it at face value and gladly pay an arm and a leg for marked up crap.

We need to outlaw this. If a company is found to be engaging in these practices anyone in the inventory and pricing departments as well as the CEO should all be imprisoned and the company fined. Heck, the product should be seized and liquidated by the government, too.

That doesn't really apply to modern tech. We are stagnating. The 4090 is still high demand and only beaten by newer and more expensive GPUs when it comes to VRAM capacity. The 14900K (and other Intel 7 based processors) built on a 2022 process is still a top chip. DDR5 has obviously gone up, flash memory is the same or slightly higher than it was in 2024.
Top time to get a new rig was somewhere around late 2024 before 4090s at MSRP sold out, CPU, RAM prices were the lowest during Summer 2025.

Buy SN850X and the heat death of the universe will come before the flash memory goes bad as long as it's powered on and cooled.
There is currently a YouTube channel where some guy is endurance testing a Samsung 990 Pro (generally not as reliable as the SN850X but same generation and close) and he's at ~38PBW and the thing is still good.

The great thing about those little guys is how they sell them in varying degrees of completeness. You can buy a top of the line unit with an apu and all the extra ports but without any of the overpriced internals to go with it. A lot of boomers hate them though because they get hung up on not having a screen or battery like a laptop. IMO they make for great office units that aren't going to be pushing the frontier of 3D graphics nor require the mobility of a laptop.
