Since this thread seems the best place for it, I want to ask the opposite question as it relates to race: why did Hitler and other german/white supremacists see poles as asiatic and lesser? There was very, very little mixing with the mongols from what I've read and even then it was only a small part of Poland. Also, when looking at modern poles, to my eye that look completely european. Unlike russians where you can sometimes see that asian admixture. So what gives?
