Blocking the harbor mouth with huge barges is actually brilliant. I am betting in the near term they will replace it with a chain netting though. It was common throughout much of history actually, to defend a port from ingress with a weighted chain.

You didn't change the distributor gear. You ran the stock cast-iron gear against a billet steel cam. It ate the teeth off the distributor. The pop/fart was your timing scattering right before the gear sheared completely.

Let me indulge you for a hot second. Your daughter, yeah, if she's real, she wants you to BE there. Not be on the phone. She might be little, but since you don't remember being a child, here's something that will likely fall on deaf ears -- kids do remember how their parents spend their time with them and what attention is given.

Being an emotionally absent father is almost as bad as being an absent father. For your daughter's sake, I hope she doesn't grow up to be a stereotypical promiscuous woman. Again, provided she's real.

UKRAINE IS KHAZARIA.
Khazaria was a JEWISH ruled state on the Eurasian steppe that was eventually defeated by the Christian RUSSIAN ruler Svyatoslav.
The JEWS would eventually move to Germany and become known as the Ashkenazim.
Around the 17th century, the JEWS resettled in Khazaria, now called The Ukraine...

>First.
>The goals of the special military operation will undoubtedly be achieved.
>We would prefer to accomplish this and address the root causes of the conflict through diplomatic means.
>However, if the opposing side and its foreign patrons refuse to engage in substantive dialogue, Russia will achieve the liberation of its historical lands by military means.
>The task of creating and expanding a security buffer zone will also be carried out consistently.

>Second.
>Work on modernising the Armed Forces must continue at a rapid pace and to a high standard, primarily within the framework of the new State Armament Programme for 2027˗2036, which is currently under development.
>As I have repeatedly emphasised, the experience gained during the special military operation, emerging trends in combat tactics, and rapidly developing military technologies must be fully taken into account.
>Key areas of the state programme include air and missile defence systems, command and control systems, electronic warfare capabilities, and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) operating in all environments.
>Of course, improving our strategic nuclear forces remains a priority. As before, they will play a decisive role in deterring aggression and maintaining the global balance of power.
>Today, Russia marks Strategic Missile Forces Day. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate veterans, service members, and civilian personnel of the Strategic Missile Forces on their professional holiday and to wish them continued success and all the very best.

>Third.
>The Russian army must continue to remain at the forefront of technological progress.
>This means accelerating the introduction of robotics, information technologies, and new materials into the Armed Forces, as well as expanding the use of artificial intelligence in command and control systems and autonomous combat platforms.

.....
>>
>>523829045
>Fourth.
>It is essential to equip the orbital constellation with next-generation spacecraft.
>This will provide the troops with high-speed, secure communications, while also significantly improving the quality of intelligence and high-precision navigation data.

>Next.
>In May of this year, the Strategy for the Development of the Navy until 2050 was approved, outlining its prospective configuration.
>The clear and timely implementation of this strategy will enable the modernisation of the Navy and enhance its effectiveness in carrying out combat tasks across all theatres of military operations.

>Furthermore.
>it is imperative to continue actively developing military and military-technical cooperation with foreign countries – our allies and partners – to strengthen the collective security system and the Union State.
>Overall, efforts in this direction constitute a significant factor in enhancing regional and international security.
>>
>>523829045
>President Trump has said that had he been in office at the time, none of this would have happened.
>He may well be right. Because the previous administration deliberately brought matters to an armed conflict.
>And I think the reason is clear: they believed Russia could be swiftly broken up and dismantled. European “swine underlings” (official translation, he says little pigs, which cultrally I'd translate like leeches, or rats, or something like that) immediately joined the efforts of that previous American administration, hoping to profit from our country’s collapse: to reclaim what had been lost in earlier historical periods and to exact a form of revenge.
>As has now become evident to all, every one of those attempts, every destructive design against Russia, has ended in complete and total failure.
>Russia has demonstrated its resilience in the economy, finance, domestic politics, the state of society, and, ultimately, in its defence capability.

>Our army has become totally different. This applies to troop command, tactics, strategy, equipment, and the work and performance of the defence and industrial complex.
>This also concerns the strategic component: our nuclear shield is more updated than the nuclear component of any officially recognised nuclear power.
>How much modernised is it, over 80 percent?
>>>Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov: Ninety-two percent.
>Vladimir Putin: Our nuclear forces are 92 percent modernised. No other nuclear power in the world has such a level.

Ukraine’s Defense & Military Developments (1/2)
>>> Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi said Ukraine’s deep-strike campaign against targets inside Russia has inflicted more than $21.5 billion in losses since the start of the year, framing the effort as a way to erode Moscow’s logistics, fuel supply chains, and ability to sustain offensive operations.

Russian government's main source of revenue is oil/gas selling and tax on alcohol/tobacco. Just like it was in the past. In the past the main source was grains and tax on alcohol (vodka), and the government even designated tee tolerates as terrorists, and made a large campaign of spreading alcoholism

Yes, but that's the obvious and acceptable money. If thinking about all the under-the-table stuff, subtle influencing, and outright bribes.
The City has been welcoming Muscovite cash for decades, but we would be idiots to assume it was all done without causing direct harm that can be publicly traced back to Putin if we are given the legal freedom to air it all.
Threats to recoup the seized funds during/after the war are a gamble that can easily backfire.
Not to mention the absurdity of making such a claim after Putin already seized so many foreign assets himself.

Ukraine 1990 to 2004 was doing Belarus, that's what they were doing. They were Russia 3.
The moment they tried to stop being Russia 3 and be Ukraine is the moment bad things started happening to them, because Russian money and Putin's prestige (and therefore his authority, and therefore his literal life) are hurt by this.
Putin didn't start the big war in 2022 to "punish" Ukraine, or for revenge, or for russian nationalism, or for any such thing. He did it for self defense, to make Russia need him badly again, to reign in the country, and make sure he doesn't get anally raped with a bayonett by an angry mob. Putin is using the russian army like a prostitute uses a bear spray, so he can continue being in charge, and continue looting Russia. He'd rather this war lasts forever, than to end the war in some way that can't be span as a total victory and an utter triumph.

zizterz... why is the undamaged intact submarine leaking?

>The Russian submarine hit by the SBU drone in the port of Novorossiysk has started to leak. Literally.

>Fuel and lubricants are leaking from the Varshavyanka-class submarine into the sea.

>In addition, the rear of the boat is half-flooded. Because, as I reported earlier, the armored hull was pierced and 2 compartments were flooded.

>The picture shows a diagram of the location of the objects and calculations of the critical pressure limits that were formed as a result of the explosion of the SubSeaBaby warhead.

>Earlier, the Russians stated that the submarine was completely intact and undamaged.

I dunno. Was it worth it for the Kremlin to warmonger? Probably not. They've lost tens of thousands of Russians. Russia's economy is hurting.

The whole thing is a tragedy. The invasion of Ukraine should stop immediately so that no more people die - Ukrainian, Russian, North Korean, etc.

Russian troops should of course leave all of Ukrainian territory (Crimea, Donbas, etc) in accordance with international law. Those areas are internationally recognised as belonging to Ukraine.

There should be a war crimes trial in The Hague with Putin and his colleagues on trial (Peskov, Lavrov, etc). Hopefully Putin's personal wealth can be liquidated and given to Ukraine as reparations for all of the damage and destruction caused personally by Putin.

Air superiority? Not yet and probably not until the very end of a russian frontlione collapse. The danger of losing aicraft to some single AA lying in ambush is too great.
But the complete lack of tactical AA while moving in convoy is notable. There should be at least one Thor or Tunguska be moving with the TELs at all times.
