I saw a thread on Twitter where some Europhile cuck was using a picture of Notre Dame to claim that Europe is so much better than the US, and the top reply was that yes, places like Notre Dame still technically are standing for now. But the French who built it are no more, and they're never coming back. And so these structures technically stand because no one has knocked them down yet, but the culture around them grows to care less and less, and eventually someone will say "Do we really need this old building? There are no Catholics left here." and the people around will agree. Because even to the people that pass these places by today, they have no value, no connection. They imagine their city or country carries that hallmark of being somewhere important, but all of the things that made it so are gone.
