I feel an obligation on a human level to speak and tell the truth, but at the same time, on that personal human level, I want to be happy. And what would make me happy? Many of my friends have chosen the docile route. To shut all of it out, and pretend they don't see what's happening before our very eyes. I don't think I can do that.
