You get what you deserve for buying Ford.

The writing was on the wall when they made a Bronco SUV and a EV Mustang.

Fuck, the writing was on the wall when they stopped making manual trucks in 2010.

They're just preparing to show up with empty pockets when testifying to Congress in January.
>we can't make money
>we had to fire everyone for christmas
>please bail us out with lots of money
>think of all the people who depend on our auto workers we just fired

The escape chassis is just the bronco sport, it’s just renamed basically as they both fill the same role

>it's over for Americans cars
It's over for all cars sold in america.
The used market is in shambles, if you aren't a car guy, you're looking at 8 - 15k just for a used car that is under 100k miles.
If you're looking for new, you have to pay atleast 25k or you get a car with a shitty CVT and huge corner cuts.

It's disastrous, the dream of getting a car in highschool to carpool with your boys or take your girlfriend out is over. Even in college it's near impossible unless you have daddy's money.

The worst part is that American car companies like Ford are bailed out time and time again.
When they get close to bankruptcy because they plead that they're a "Homegrown American Company", and they're bailed out the same way that banks were bailed out in 2008.
No consequences, no conditionals, just a free pass to keep scamming the customers as usual.

I'm looking at F-150s in the 2010 era but not the gay turbo v6 slop, a 1500 Chevy may be better but definitely not a Dodge.

they removed the ipad glued to the dashboard and rebranded it as bronco

Who cares, anyone who buys a Ford deserves what they get.

The Bronco Sport is the same thing, but not shaped like a generic potato. They're probably just gonna focus on that.

Ford did that in the early 2000s when the stopped making their best selling car, The Taurus. When Alan Mulally took over, he was like wtf did we do that for? Dude really saved them, and they managed to fuck it all up in a decade.

What car manufacturer is the best bang for your buck and most reliable?

Lots of YouTube videos of mechanics being pushed my way these last few months. They all say that the highly strung small capacity engines require engineering tolerances that require 0 weight oil that just drains off the motor, amongst other issues. Basically to meet fuel efficiency requirements the engineers are creating ICE engines that just tear themselves to pieces after the warranty expires? Now we see them just outright cancel an ICE to make an electric? That looks like the engineers pulled the bean counters aside and had a talk with them about what's physically possible with explosions and metal?

Toyota back in the 90's. I've been watching mechanic videos on YouTube. They've just been hating on modern engineering only surviving the warranty and cars being disposable consumer items like phones now. They all say the highly strung combustion engines just tear themselves to pieces due to the engineering tolerances required to get that much power out of a motor.

Toyota and Honda are the most reliable except everybody knows that now so they're incredibly inflated.
