After all, Ishmael is a child of Abraham, the Jews' ancestor, and Ishmael is the child of the covenant. If the Muslim has benefitted from the spiritual gifts of the Jews, shouldn't they also assist in the corporeal? Why wouldn't they be thankful to the Jews for their preservation of the Torah that ultimately led to their religion?
