It is time to track down the people who are making graphs with the axes not starting at zero, and stop them. this has gotten way too ridiculous and widespread. contact each person using backround check databases and tell each one to stop with the lies and misrepresentation. you would be amazed how big of a difference talking to just a few people in person or on the phone personally does for almost any issue. I actually start genuine conversations. it is counterproductive to just yell at them or attempt it at all if you are not eloquent, have high social and overall intelligence

this is also just general advice for any issue, like is stated also. even divisive issues can be influenced this way as a force multiplier. there are also sub-categories within issues that you can address specifically and get politicians and others to think about by personally talking to them
