I recently checked my phone and realized that I'm using my phone for 8 hours a day on average. The average teenager is on their phone for eight hours a day. I see the effects in myself and my students. But it's hush hush because the global economy runs on this fact. These days I just zone out of nowhere and don't know what happened. I see it in my students too. People seem way more awkward on average. People seem like they're shelled up. Post your observations with this phenomenon. What the fuck are we doing as a people???
It's just adaptation to a different environment
>>523903754Indeed. We just live in a new world. Obviously people like op dont like it and have a natural inclination towards old world workings. Nothing wrong with that but here in america you eaither stay caught up or fall behind. Op should move to russia or china where there's still lots of old world living
>>523903844Russia, China and the US are pretty much the same country
Same but I don’t watch regular TV anymore and most of my screen time is actually just listening to Devon Stack “Blackpilled” while painting Warhammer miniatures.
Just buy a dumb phone that can only text/call and use it for a month.
>8 hours a dayif you're talking that much you should just fuck off to romania
>>523903844I like America, I just miss the America from 11 years ago, when I used to be the only chronically online person I knew.Everyone lives on their phones these days, myself included. I just want to break the habit. I just want it to fucking stop. Enough 67. Enough Capuccina Ballerina. Enough Porn. I can't even sleep anymore.
>>523904003Good call
>>523904013Imagine being this much of a fucking boomer>phones only used to talk>not like…anything else
>>523903669i use it 5 minutes a day to browse pol while i'm taking a shit
