I don't get it. Why would you NOT use adblock already? Like why would you willingly submit to ads when with one easy click you can just not? Is it some american boomer mentality where they watched so many ads on TV they can't imagine a life without them anymore? Its literally free to not watch ads.

You don't just block ads, you block scripts as well and by default block all cookies, allow only what's needed and delete them after they're deleted. You also turn off any storage that browser applications are allowed to use on your device, but even then they can fingerprint and track you because Google won the browser wars with Chrome and thus sets the standards that are used by all other browsers, like Opera or even Steam's web browser.
