every post hating on suburbs is inferiority complex europeans, suburbs houses are way nicer than small ugly european houses, and suburban streets look way better than avg old chaotic clusterfuck euro city.
>lol look at them, theyre street are symmetric and regular looked from above, theyre so npc, give me my old bee hive building in my little ugly insect pod apartement with no yard or personal space!!

Suburbs are based and I'm tired of pretending that they're not

Ruralfags are mentally ill and live in squalor, every single one of them lives like a hoarder and is mentally ill

Suburbs are great, but they need to have a bit more to them. More parks, social areas, shops, cafes etc. I don’t like having to drive at least 10-15 minutes for quick errands.

My paternal grandfather was able to buy a 4-bedroom house in the suburbs as a salesman with 2 kids. My grandma was a stay-at-home mom. They had 2 more kids after buying the house. This was in the late 60s - early 70s. My maternal grandparents were poor, especially after the economy went down the shitter in the 70s.

there's weird pockets of america on the east coast where it's like a hybrid of city/suburb and you have residential people setting up businesses where you can like buy crab from them or get your hair done. mostly seen in ghetto-ish areas. it always kind of weirded me out to see shops next to houses, but i think this is an interesting proposition in less dark areas. not like dentists or lawyers working from home, but i mean places where you can shop

It wasn't even a housing boom either, it was yuppies and urbanites fleeing their shithole cities and driving up the prices of housing in the suburbs and even some rural areas because they'd outbid each other which doubled the cost of a house in some areas.
Greedy boomers took advantage of the stupid liberal citytards.

It’s also major corporations trying to cash in on home values by building massive developments as fast as possible. Cutting every corner, using illegal laborers, doing 5 minute home inspections, using the cheapest materials, and stamping out warranties so they can move on to the next development. I’m glad home inspectors are going viral pointing out the pathetic new build quality.
