I wouldn't mind getting high taxes if they stopped spending it on the military. I support free healthcare and education. Why is this so controversial?

in the United States income tax is unconstitutional aka illegal, and the 16th Amendment was never ratified.All countries: if you still are under the illusion that 'taxes' (any kind) are revenue, you're sadly mistaken. None of what your governments spend is money "they have" it's all 'printed' out of thin air by your sovereign government's own central bank+treasury.the "I pay taxes----my gov uses that to do stuff" concept / paradigm is for dupes.It's a spending problem, not a revenue problem.
