Zelensky, in the opening days of the invasion, as Kyiv was being maybe encircled, the VDV was assaulting Hostomel (and Poseidon kek), and literal Russian hit squads were rolling through the streets trying to kill or capture him... stood his ground, rallied the troops, and was successful. I have to actively try to make that sound as mundane as possible but that shit is heroic. All of the above is observable reality. I don't know who our leaders think they are, but somehow some people buy it.
