China: dehumanize their citizens, but have had extremely impressive, nigh-unprecedented growth and have the potential to become THE global superpower. Finally becoming as powerful as they once were. Invests in nuclear and renewable energy. Produces everything. Has cool cities with novel architecture. Ruled by a totalitarian sociopath, but at least he’s doing a good job.

R*ssia: have literally never been good, ever, at any point in human history. Produce nothing except a shitty fossil fuel which we will hopefully move past soon. Have infinite land but somehow are still a third world country. Literally everyone in the country is miserable. Run by a totalitarian sociopath with zero redeeming qualities who has accomplished literally nothing except making his people miserable and starting a forever war.
