Did the Ottoman Emperor not care about the black man committing adultery with his concubines?
Even if no children were born, the black man could still have sex with his women.

Not all castrated would be able to pop a wood. Maybe a quarter of them at best had enough to operate.
But no test, no boners mostly.

That statement is not correct, but it’s a very common misunderstanding. I’ll explain it simply and clearly, step by step.
Short answer
In the Ottoman Empire, eunuchs were castrated men, including Black eunuchs.
They were not uncastrated.
What eunuch actually means
A eunuch is, by definition, a man who has been castrated (usually before puberty or early in life).
If a man was not castrated, he was not considered a eunuch in Ottoman law or society.
Black eunuchs in the Ottoman Empire
The Ottomans employed Black eunuchs, especially in the imperial harem
They were usually:
Enslaved as boys
Castrated outside the Ottoman Empire (Ottoman law forbade castration inside the empire)
Brought in already castrated
This is why people sometimes think they were “uncastrated” — the Ottomans didn’t perform the act themselves, but they absolutely used castrated men.
Why Black eunuchs specifically?
The Ottoman logic (not a moral defense, just historical reasoning):
Castration + racial difference was believed to reduce:
Sexual threat to the harem
Family ties and loyalty conflicts
This led to Black eunuchs dominating harem administration, especially later periods
The most powerful was the Kızlar Ağası (Chief Black Eunuch), one of the most influential officials in the empire.
Important distinction
Uncastrated Black men did exist in the Ottoman Empire
They could be soldiers, servants, traders, or officials
But they were not eunuchs
Calling them eunuchs would have been factually wrong at the time.
Why this myth persists
Confusion between who did the castration vs who employed eunuchs
Modern discomfort with the reality of castration people soften the story
Online oversimplifications
Bottom line
Ottoman Empire had Black eunuchs
They were not uncastrated
Castration happened outside Ottoman borders
“Group of uncastrated black men” = historically incorrect
