>the time between the year 2000 and 2013 is the same amount of time between 2013 and nowAnyone else feel like time has been moving unusually fast since the pandemic? I don't know if it's just a symptom of getting older or if we've been stuck in some kind of mendela effect alternative timeline since then, but to me it still feels like 2019 was barely 2 years ago and we blinked and suddenly the 2020s decade is halfway over. Kids today aren't even old enough to remember fucking 2026 meanwhile my zilennial ass feels like I never left that era.
The pandemic was demoralizing. If you keep doing the same thing over and over, even after you know it is wrong, then you feel as if you are doing nothing. And if time is measured in action or accomplishments, then no time has passed in the last five years.
>>523962543I was 17 in 2020, and it’s weird to think I’m an adult now. The world feels completely different. Somehow 2020 feels like it was only a few years ago, even though it was five years back. COVID really messed everything up
>>523962857Holy fucking captcha btw. Can't say I encoyed doint it, but I do believe it is a step in the right direction for this site.
>>523962543I feel like it's 2021 or 2022, not fucking 2026.
the period between 1998 and 2008 was probably the best 10 years in human history as a kid/teen2009-2013 was kinda trash, all i remember from that is smartphones becoming mainstream and video games sucking all of a sudden
Time dilates for you more as you grow older. This is why you should be doing something with your life so you at least have a sense of accomplishment as time goes by.
The last 3 years have been a huge waste of time. Just me and dream people yelling fuck you to each other, and me trying to implicate as many government groups as possible until me and the dream people are no longer yelling at each other
>>523963291Literally the most reddit reply possible. If you were in a video game and the main plot would be that time is getting funky and you are investigating why it happens, then this fucking reply is what you would get from talking to some NPC in the park to keep the story plot consistent.
>>523963775Look I know you're not yet 18 to safely post here plus your yuropeon so I'll cut you some slack. This is a known effect experienced by every human being since the dawn of time.
>>523963088Boypoosy is such an insane time passer. I get it too anon.
time moves fast if you are not Christian. Christ can slow down time just by thinking about it which is why his sayings and rebukes were so excellent.
>>523963868>since the dawn of timeThe Amerimutt NPC speaks for all humanity in existence without any deeper thought as if he was present and could verify said claim. A walking encyclopedia like you would expect from generated NPC dialogue. Classic.
>>523962543Lack of memes and OCs make everything feel stagnant at the moment. We're still subsisting off of memes from 2020-2022 and these have gotten old. We're also going through a culture shift at the moment where /pol/ talking points have become mainstreamed a lot more.
It's because of CERN.
They be accelerating them shits real fast. And then time speeds up? Coincidence? Think not.
It’s a sign of the End Times
>>523965750Matthew 24:22Mark 13:20Revelation 8:12Shiggy diggy
I want it to go even faster
>>5239625432019 doesn't feel like that long ago but that Post Malone song Circles came out in 2019 and that feels like it came out forever ago. If you just start listing off stuff by year everything falls into place.
