The anxiety tells you to keep your mouth shut and listen when the adults talk. It protects you from being a self-entitled narcissist retard during that critical phase of life where keeping your mouth shut and listening to the adults teaches you how to properly adapt to a society of grown-ups. SSRI's prevent that learning process, they stunt your social and emotional development. It's important that you feel awful when you made a mistake and everyone laughed about you. That's how you learn. The drugs take that from you, they ensure that you're proud of your mistakes and people laugh about you forever. SSRI can also cause porn addiction and permanent erectile dysfunction.
>>523974484I think that stuff is more for depression. Stuff like benzodiapines are more to deal with anxiety. Anyways they are terrible, you become dependent on them and you are better off resolving anxiety through stuff like exercise, meditation and cognitive behavioural therapy than relying on a pill.
It's like, Satan's anti-soma. To me they seem more like those Daoist alchemists who kept taking realgar and cinnabar until they curled up and died like roaches.

>>523974484I took the for a few months. I was very anxious, cause I was pretty much a NEET. They just numb you to your problems. In my opinion they can be a tool, used properly. So you would probably need to know how each of them works before taking one.But depressed people aren't in the state of mind to think about their utility. So the decision to use SSRIs rarely is rational. In most cases it's just grasp at strawsas for me, they didn't do much apart from lessening the anxiety. The root of my issues was elsewhere. So I weened off and tackled my issues from different side. No lasting side effects, although I think paroxetine gave me puffy nipples
