This looks pants on head retarded. Why do we need a bigger ballroom than Buckingham Palace?
>>523976494cause its big, next question
i hope the next president tears that shit down
>>523976494Because fuck Buckingham palace
>>523976494He should have made it a tower that looks like a trump building.
>>523976494Society is collapsing within ten years what the fuck do I care what happens to the white house.
>>523976494>Why do we need needShall not be infringed. If you don't like it go move to the UK.
>>523976494he should rebuild the whitehouse bigger
>>523976600that would have been cool as fuck. with a huge led-american flag radiating american might for everyone to see.
>>523976764yes, it would have been better if he just started to rebuild the whole thing to make it appropiate. there is no reason why the capita building of the strongest nation on earth is that small, should be yuge
>>523976494I don't care. There's 330 million Americans. How many will ever go to DC in their lives? 1 million? This is absolutely meaningless to 99.9% of Americans. The aesthetic preferences of our imperial elites aren't something I care about.
>>523976494>Why do we need a bigger >ballroomhttps://thedreydossier.substack.com/p/trump-isnt-building-a-ballroomTHINK /pol/cels, THINK
>>523976494Anything that makes libtards this mad can't be wrong
>>523976494>why do we need a bigger ballroom than buckingham palace? It's just proportionally sized.
>>523976494>Why do we need a bigger ballroom than Buckingham Palace? It's not about the ballroom, but a revamp of whats underneath it.
>>523976494>Why do we need a bigger ballroom than Buckingham Palace? You have to house Trump's gigantic balls somewhere.
>>523976494That looks ridiculous, is that what is planned to be built on the site?
>>523977041I dont disagree with that, but a ballroom? Who even uses ballrooms anymore?
>>523976494Just more stuff for the brits to burn down
>>523976494Why wouldn't we humor his odd tastes if the rest he does is great? We already knew he's thin skinned, vain and tasteless but the guy's genuine and next to the rest of the politickers he's honest Abe himself.
>>523976930thanks, this is really fucking interesting, and adds a lot of colour to the story. Especially Trump hiring a nice public-facing architect, then replacing him with a pentagon guy after people moved on from the story
>>523976494He is building his own Germania slowly
>>523976563they won't it cost way too much money for anyone to want to put their name next to "destroyed building that cost such and such amount" that's why it's so obnoxiously big and expensive, because he wants something nobody will just get rid of when he's outand that mentality tells you all you really need to know about him
>>523977253why doesnt he wreck the whitehouse and builds a way bigger more intimidating version?
>>523977236exactly, the us should have GIGANTIC capital building, with stone carved american eagles and son on
>>523976930Why would POTUS need to build sovereign AI infrastructure under the white house and not out in some Utah Data Centre or in Raven Rock?Is it to do with executive authority and he can just say he wants to build downwards without permits? He can surely do that on any federal land
>>523976494It's a legitimately good idea. The White House is not a large residence compared to those of many other heads of state around the world. It's literally just a large house, on par with what the super rich of the early 1800s enjoyed. Today, even in the US, there are many multi-millionaires and billionaires with residences larger than the white house. Hell, this was true over 100 years ago, when Mar-A-Lago in Florida was built, which Trump bought and renovated. Mar a Lago is much bigger than the white house. Trump probably realizes it's absurd that the president of the USA has a smaller space for entertaining and hosting foreign dignitaries than many wealthy private citizens have. When the White House has some large event with dozens of ambassadors or other presidents/prime ministers/kings from around the world in attendance, they can't even have them all inside the white house. It's too small, they have to erect what are essentially circus tents on the lawn and host events outside, under a tent. This is ridiculous for the so-called "richest country in the world" and it also makes hosting events in winter that much more difficult. This is one of those projects that the media will shit on but 15+ years down the road will be lauded as one of Trump's better decisions and every future president will say they love it.
>>523977138>I dont disagree with that, but a ballroom? Who even uses ballrooms anymore? They use them for large dinners and other events
>>523976494He pays for a huge upgrade out of his own pocket, oh no! Is that ok with you, Karen?
