Pre-COVID and post-COVID feel like completely different worlds. Most things before 2020 seemed so hopeful. Are we in hell?
>>
I still can't believe it all happened, and what's even more surreal is that everyone acts like it never happened.

Get used to it, it's a hell of a thing to notice that, and it can drive you mad.

Back in the 90's/00's, Portugal underwent a massive wave of violence fueled by drug addiction. People were being robbed at needle-point (threat of HIV back then was huge), women were being dragged on asphalt holding their purses by robbers on mopeds, kids were being stabbed and beaten for the clothes and shoes they were wearing.

Then in the span of 1 year, a change to the legal framework shifted the focus of law enforcement and we started treating addicts instead of yo-yo-ing them in and out of jail. That's good and all, but the eery part is that everyone stopped talking about the violence and crime. By the end of the decade, it was like nothing had ever happened. Nowadays, young people know nothing of it, and older people speak of it, it's always in dulcet tones - "oh, sure, there was a little crime back then, but it was nothing big".

That's how the narrative works for most people. If something isn't being talked about all the time, they forget about it. Short attention spans aren't just a thing on the internet.

We’ve all realized that the vast majority of humans will turn on each other out of fear (fear of virus and fear of government)
There is a hard line drawn between us all now. You either fear the virus and believe vaxx is mandatory, or you fear government and believe vaxx is evil. Either way, people hate each other and think the other side is utterly subhuman retarded.

2020 was the point of no return

We all hunkered down and did the whole "We're all in this together" shit just to add a few more years to the Boomer's lifespan. Meanwhile we printed so much money that Gen Z and Gen A are now more fucked than Millenials after the Great Recession. They're priced out of home ownership, cars ownership and are now using buy now pay later for fast food. Also the years after govts started imported massive amounts of people to stop the "labour shortage" only to realize that they imported too many people that now a teenager can't even get a job at a McDonalds since its all migrants working there. At this point they're going full 1488 because they realize there's no hope left.

You're just a weakling who couldn't handle a pandemic scenario and you're still traumatised by it. The truth is most "normies" are mentally tougher than all of the "based" types or whatever you call yourselves.

Not to mention how much the techno feudalism shit was fast-tracked. AI is saturating every industry, and mass automation is looming. Socialism is still being demonized when this system is untenable, when both hit a fever pitch and displace millions of people out of work.
It feels like we're in a shitty dystopian sci-fi story

>what's even more surreal is that everyone acts like it never happened.
If you had participated in this jewish humiliation ritual, would you also not just act like it never happened?

Even the normie knows they were rused. Their cope is to pretend nothing ever happened, instead of admitting it did.

I dunno, I talk to my kids about it and everyone who asks all the time. I talk about how evil the government and the "authorities" are.
Boomers roll their eyes, but the I point out how their kids are all on drugs with no jobs and ask whose fault is that? Who sold all our industry? I tell them I openly hate the US government and the state of this nation and I would ally with anyone fighting against our government and/or Israel, this shocks them because I was a star athlete, model citizen, zogbot, and am successful with a good job and family. I basically look like some cornfed White middle American quarterback.
And then they stfu with their stupid fat boomer opinions when they see even I hate them and the stupid faggot government.

Not everyone is a despondent loser like you

>>523993437
Not even remotely true. Some people were obsessed with the Mayan calendar thing and the world abruptly coming to end via some calamity in 2012

so the answer was yes to one or the other. if the former, welcome to life, if the latter, well maybe you'll find a new set of car keys soon
