Not only is 2026 the 250th anniversary (the mythical number of years that most Empires rarely see past) but it will also see the Supreme Court of the United States make a ruling a constitutional question that will shape the demographics of North America for the next 250 years. In spring of 2026 SCOTUS will rule on the MERITS of Trumps Executive Order 14160 which ends Birthright Citizenship for the children of Illegals and Temporary Visa Holders (H1B as an example). The EO itself only applies to any child who was born on or after January 20th, 2025 but Supreme Court Rulings on Constitutional Questions are different, it would apply RETROACTIVELY going back to when the Fourteenth Amendment was ratified on July 9th, 1868.This is because SCOTUS cannot MAKE LAW, their interpretations of Constitutional Questions are seen as what the law ALWAYS HAS BEEN because the Constitution is very clear that there is no method to amend or alter the US Constitution without using Article V powers which the Constitution grants to all states explicitly.Only SCOTUS has the last say on Constitutional Questions.
The only way to get around this after SCOTUS rules in Trumps favor is a Constitutional Amendment or a new ruling from SCOTUS that overturns this one.Good luck getting 38 out of 50 states to agree that Illegals and Temporary Visa Holders should be granted Birthright Citizenship for their children. As for the second method, SCOTUS is extremely unlikely to overturn their ruling within the same year much less the same decade.

>>523992347zero percent chance they will block that - it will be Thomas against the other justices
It was clearly meant for slaves in the 1800s. It does not apply to Chinese tourists who fart out a kid ten minutes after they land. That kid is not a citizen and neither are they. Magic soil isn't real.
>>523994464wrongIt will be 7-2 in Trumps favor. This is because SCOTUS already set the precedent in Wong Kim Ark that supports Trumps arguments.
>>523994622sure the lady catholic feminist with black kids is gonna vote with you on that - sure
>>523992347Just so you know when you're proven wrong I'm going to post this thread you've been spamming for months. I know that, like so many others, you're going to scamper away and hide in the comfort of anonymity. But just know that I'm going to keep making threads mocking you at least once a month. You're going to see them every now and then and wince slightly about being proven wrong.
Its gonna be the titsThe dems keep losing their voting baseAnd we may see a return of whites only attitude and get our state sanctioned crystalnacht. Then we help canada do the same for their invaders
>>523994464they already signaled that they agree with Trump. the law was never meant to give you citizenship solely for being born within american borders. that only applies if you have lawful status AT BEST.
>>523992347>Miga! Bet you regret voting for Flumf now. Fell for it again, should have voted Kamala.
They might have months ago, but now they won't because the GOP and MAGA will be pasted in the upcoming years. Yes that's how US politics really works
>>523992347It needs to be backdated to 1986.
>>523992347>no linkNo bump>Summary of what is actually true right now TrueAn EO (14160) was signed by President Trump in Jan 2025 that tries to limit birthright citizenship. WikipediaThe Supreme Court agreed to hear a case on its constitutionality in the 2025–26 term, with arguments likely spring 2026. Ogletree Deakins False / MisleadingSCOTUS does not actually strip citizenship retroactively back to 1868.EO 14160 is not presently law because courts have blocked its enforcement. The idea that the Constitution cannot be interpreted except by amendment is misconceived — SCOTUS does interpret constitutional provisions and its interpretations are binding.
SCOTUS will rule that the children of Illegals, Temporary Visa holders, and Ambassadors/Diplomats from foreign nations are NOT granted Birthright Citizenship. However SCOTUS will also uphold Wong Kim Ark in that the children of PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS HOLDERS (GREEN CARD) do Birthright Citizenship. It will be 7-2 or 6-3 decision.

Unfortunately, even if SCOTUS sides with Trump, it's just an executive order. As soon as he leaves office, the next president can undo it. At most, the ruling can be used as a precedent for other cases should Congress ever pass a law on the subject.
>>523995891WRONGThey are not ruling on the Executive Order itselfThey are ruling on the MERITS and the CONSTITUTIONALITY of Birthright Citizenship being granted to Illegals and Temporary Visa Holders under the 14th Amendment. This would UPHOLD the Precedent that was already set with Wong Kim Ark in that Permanent Resident Status holders (Green Card) are protected under the 14th but Illegals, Temporary Visa Holders, and certain other groups like children of foreign diplomats are NOT protected under the 14th amendment.
BUMPMost important event in US history and that is not even close to an exaggeration

All the women + Roberts will uphold birthright citizenship.Even just at the fucking appeal of the district court's stay, Barrett was bringing up emotional consequentialist bullshit instead of focusing on the law and history of the 14th amendment.
