With his powers as a congressman can Massie get access to the unreddacted Epstein files and say the names of the politically exposed individuals?
>>
It's debatable. Individual Congressmen have a lot of power to subpoena information into their committees, but a lot of this is controlled by the House Speakership. Speaker Johnson is on Team Trump and if Massie does anything that might hurt him, he'll just take Massie's time off the calendar or not allow him to issue subpoenas for certain information. Democrats are useless here as they are in a minority and cannot help. Additionally, if Massie were to find leaked files and just read them the Speaker can legally Censure him. Ultimately, Massie will be forced to sue the Trump Administration and have the Supreme Court get the underacted files out of the DoJ.

It is a different situation in the Senate. If Senator Paul were to get leaked copies of the Epstien Docs and read it aloud on the Senate floor, nobody can Censure him and Trump can't sue him because it's his right as a Senator. Just like with the Pentagon Papers, which is the only situation comparable to this.

And in this way elections have consequences. If Republicans loose their small majority in the next midterms, the shoe is on the other foot with Democrats in charge of everything including the Speakership. Which means Speaker Jefferies can make Epstien File Disclosure the only thing on the House calendar, and refuse to sign Trump's paycheck until he releases it. Which would ultimately result in a lawsuit at the Supreme Court, which is where all this is going to end up regardless.

That is, unless another deep throat leaks it as with the pentagon papers. Which seems likely IMO.

Thanks anon. In that case at least there some chance, however small that we'll eventually get to hear the names. There's no way a whistleblower won't come forward and share the docs with Senator Paul.

The conversation that I had with Dennis, he smartened me up to the business
And I only did web design and proto-social media canvassing for Huckabee, which Dennis and Howard Dean basically invented
