By raising interest rates
By sector-izing the currency. Rent currency according to how much housing is available. Food currency for how much food is available. Lumber currency for how much lumber is available, and so on. It is known how much of each resource is produced per year. You can then bundle together these currencies into about four master currencies based on how much inflation volatility the sub-currencies have, so that everyday people only need to understand four currencies instead of hundreds.
