>>524060019Not really. Germany did, but the largest portion of its 2nd sector is chemicals, not steel. Most of the EU is fucked beyond repair on the economic front. They went from 17-18% of the global economy to 14% over the last decade. The supply chains are a Gordian Knot of interdependence that gives even me a headache. To get from steel to tank would take 14 different nations' supply chains being completely unaffected. Not to mention food or energy. Realistically, if the US pulls out 100% on NATO, everything besides France, Turkey, and Poland is speaking Russian pretty quickly. It would take decades to get ready, and even then, it might not be possible.
