Looking for alternatives to woke Disney, Netflix, Dreamworks, etc. for kids.
>>524068037He's a pdeo but he's Japanese so it's ok.
>>524068142>A Jap, so it's ok. It's never ok.

>>524068037Based, just make sure your kids watch the original Japanese subbed instead of the godawful Disney d.ubs
>>524068037Song of the Sea
>>524068037Theyre very good kids films.
>I want my kids to grow up to watch anime and fail to make friendsJust let your kids watch Disney, "woke" is going to be a result of being the odd one out your whole life moreso than the media you watch. Find me a tranny that didn't watch anime.
>>524068798+Secret of KellsMaybe just Cartoon Saloon stuff in general, haven't seen a lot.I heard the show Bluey was wholesome as well
>>524068037According to this logic "woke" has been anything remotely beautiful and meant to instill feelings of empathy with fellow living beings. No wonder you all hate it so much
>>524068914Correlation =/= Causation
>>524068037Don't forget Don Bluth movies
>>524068037Since you haven't got a real answer, Studio Ghibli is giga pozzed, basically the Disney of Japan. The CEO of Studio Ghibli is a leftist that has stated that Japan has to apologize forever to South Korea and China for ww2, he hates Japan because they refuse to cuck out and bow their heads forever to South Korea. I'm not making it up, he wants Japan to forever live in shame. He has also said that lord of the rings is the embodiment of the typical western racist colonist ideals, how the orcs represent the third worlders, how the main characters glorify the western man's blood lust.In short, avoid anything made by Studio Ghibli.

>>524069181>Instill feelings of empathyYes goy, you got it right. Keep watching them, and have empathy for your whore wife and niggers that broke into your home.
As it is Christmas I recommend the Box of Delights from 1984 if you can track it down. Also, The Children of Green Knowe. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wdhiI8XmJQI
>>524069181>all beauty and empathy in human art is contained solely within modern Disney, Netflix and Dreamworks slop. Rejecting those 3 studios means rejecting beauty and empathy itself
>>524068037Miyazaki is an actual communist, just like most of the anime creators from his generation. To me, that makes him based
>>524069971Happy Hannukah.
>>524068037Miyazaki condemns fascism in europe but would never dare criticise grorius nipponese empire, he has some based works though
>>524068037porco rosso is very based. the lad peaked there though and it becomes increasingly more stuff happening for the sake of having a ton of stuff happening
>>524068037Books and chores
>>524070367oh you asked for KIDS. Porco Rosso is great for adults. Nausica would be more appropriate if they can understand the themes and is his best movie.
>>524068037>Looking for alternatives to woke Disney, Netflix, Dreamworks, etc. for kids. How about let your kids go outside instead of feeding them digital slop. Oh wait you're in australia so your kids will get shot by muslims or eaten by radioactive spiders.
>>524070262Miyazaki spent like six movies speaking against war and imperialism, grappling with the terror of WWII and his father’s wealth he gained from building airplane parts for the imperial government
>>524070262You haven't watched The Wind Rises
>>524070592They are outside most of the time. We have a tradition where we have a movie night on Friday evenings after dinner.
Naussica and Princess Mononoke are based beyond belief.
>>524070367>porco rosso is very based>anime about a guy who wanted to be a pig rather than a fascistlol noLaputa and Lupin III and that's all. Miyazaki's anime suck at storytelling and character development.
>>524068396it's dey culcha
>>524072188>NausicaaOnly the manga was good and it suffered terribly from his naive boomer views. Anime is two- three chapters of the manga turned into standalone movie for eco retards.
Old warner bros still holds up fantastically. Silly, clever, light hearted, and fun. Can't go wrong with classic looney tunes. As far as recent stuff it's more scatter shot, less consistent studios or producers and more random diamonds in the rough. Flow was really good and rose right to the top with immediate academy awards but i think it's maybe a little too melancholy in some ways. Very beautiful but there's a pervasive sadness to it as well. I'd say it's still good for kids but definitely preferable if they're older ones. Emotion and depth in kids cartoons isn't necessarily bad but there's only a pretty small window in our lives where we have both memory and also little to no conception of sorrow, loss, or pain and I think it'd be a terrible shame to cut that innocence too short exposing them to heavy and complex emotions too early. Eventually they need to be but there is such a thing as too early. I feel similarly about a lot of don bluth animated movies. I watched them very young and have some deep but really not very pleasant memories there. What i remember feeling watching them is mostly just the sensory and emotional aspect and feeling incredibly sad and a bit confused by that sadness which made me even more sad and unhappy. Even stuff like the last unicorn, bambi, or watching artax die in the never ending story didn't hurt like don bluth movies did. Maybe there was more closure in those others or something making the sadness there more sensible to a child or something but my memories of don bluth movies aren't very good and I feel like that sadness after watching them just kinda hung onto me and crying a lot after and not even being quite sure why which in retrospect i think was me needing more catharsis from the experience than the movies actually provided.
