Basically if we suspect child abuse we have to call a hotline and report it. However the class was biased as fuck. It's been nearly 20 years since I was in public education and no. It's no because nogs where the only ones doing shit like making death threats against pregnant teachers, getting drunk in school passing shit around in the halls between class being so oblivious and dumb they thought it being in a different bottle and the crowded halls rendered the behavior inconspicuous, similarly being way too obvious selling drugs, coming to school with knifes becuase there weren't metal detectors in every school back then, or when theres a fight all their friends jumping in kicking and beating on a kid so bad they have to be medevaced to the hospital by helicopter. No disproportionate punishment simply becuase the only people committing extreme offenses were all nogs. They'd get expelled for fights where white kids would get suspended becuase the white kids fights didn't involve stabbings, broken bones, friends intentionally running interference and body blocking to keep adults not allowed to touch them from putting a stop to it, beating someone to a bloody pulp as a group when the fight is already over, and shit like that shit. White kids selling drugs wouldn't get leniency but they just didn't get caught nearly as often, not becuase of profiling, but becuase they weren't being fucking morons about it. Nogs behave the same in public schools as they do in prison never having had to experience and learn that behavior.

Black girls usually got a week of after school detention while black boys got three day suspensions (out of school). The school system had a policy that if you had ten unexcused absences, you automatically failed that grade so those three day suspensions added up quickly. Their parents didn't give a shit beyond the kid losing access to free breakfast and lunch.Everyone else was sent to one of the two white assistant principals, who based on if you'd been in trouble before, would assign detention, in-school suspension, and eventually home suspension. Most parents would lose their shit the first time their kid got an at-home suspension. This was a rural area so parents still were able to admit their child was the one who was fucking up. The vast majority of non-black kids, probably around 90%, would straighten up after the first at-home suspension.
