Was it actually easier for normal people to socialize in the 90's and earlier, or is that selective memory due to antisocial people/incels simply getting less attention. Ie, when those kind of people whined online in the 90's, fewer people cared.
>>
being ugly and autist has always been hard, but I do believe internet fosters autism and insecurities so it could be there is increased anti social behaviour
>>
>>524113035
The best times to be young was 1995-2005. After that each year keeps getting worse and worse.
>>
There was no social media, internet was very niche and harder to get into. Even well into the early 00s this was the case. You look back at old game and software devs, total nerds with autist tier interest in programming, yet they got along with people, married, had kids. You pretty much had to socialize back in the day, there was no real way around it.
>>
I was born in 1990 and i was always an outcast, had no friends, was a loser and foids never liked me. so yeah, it has always been a thing. people want to blame social media but insecure/introverted/shy people can exist without the need for it.
>>
>>524114683
let me guess, you were young between 1995 and 2005
>>
>>524113035
It was easier. You don't have to be old to understand what cellphone cameras and instant internet does is put everyone on edge. Where you use to have fun private moments with friends, the possibility of being filmed and that moment living forever just does not appeal to people. Even though they had the internet, they knew to keep their real names off of it. People today blend their internet personas so tightly with their real life, that they become parodies. Social media is like the ultimate MMO. You get fame points for your internet character, but that only applies to people who play that game. What people these days do is basically give up the ability to hold on to memories, and they source it to some internet profile for public use. Social media users are the awkward, dorkie, weirdo, phoney, superficial people who are basically addicted to the internet. Their type only thrives on the internet, but fails to impress people in real life. People who can't put their phones down and just live in the moment. They need validation, and they're debilitated, even dismayed at their internet personas being tied to their real life status. Again everyone in the 90's and even 2000 did not mix the two. People sold out their social lives to social media websites, and they themselves are the content of their own embarrassment and inability to let go and live in the moment.
>>
Socializing was the norm and to be expected. If you had difficulties socializing, like I did, life would be tough.

>>524114933
>let me guess, you were young between 1995 and 2005

probably, he's still right though, at least about things getting worse since then

Meh. Anything after 1920 was insanely bad for the West.
>>
>>524113035
Everything past 1950 was absolute hell for ugly/autistic men. It kept getting worse and worse every year.
If you didn't get conscripted for some stupid war 1880 was the last year in Europe/USA for men to have decent lives and even that is pushing it.
In the 1840's USA if you were an ugly low class autistic freak you could always sell your house or inheritance move down South and buy a black woman. Yeah you'll be living in a ten but at least you got a woman by your side and she'll be happier than the ones working the fields 12 hours a day. Everything past arranged marriages is a scam and a joke, dating is a humiliation ritual for men if you believe otherwise you're a blue pilled faggot.

Pretty well put.
>>
>>524113035
Yes. It was normal to never be home, most didn't have the internet, women weren't on it and it was for geeks/nerds and a form of social death. I'm not saying it was the best time, that would have probably have been the 70's but they were definitely the last decent decade
>>
>>524113035
>people whined online in the 90's, fewer people cared.
Back then pretty much no one was online but yeah people didn't still don't care about your whining. So do the world a favor and deep throat a shotgun already.
>>
>>524113035
Yes it was easier.
People these days are judgemental vindictive fucking weird cunts who fools every little thing others day then use it to destroy their lives via social media.

USA from it's inception till the end of the 19th century was pure bliss for men, until they got slaughtered in some dumbass war and even then you could maybe avoid conscription if you're resourceful.
Even if you were poor if I had to choose between living in a run down shack and jerk off versus selling the propriety to buy a black bitch I'd probably buy her.

And frankly if you couldn't afford a slave after selling everything you got way bigger problems than women you probably slept on a rope.

Ever since the covid hoax I stopped interacting with the goyim cattle. I just look through them and pretend they don't exist. I don't even greet them or acknowledge their presence. I'm not staring either, I'm just looking straight through them as if they weren't there.
My life has significantly improved. I am at peace
>>

Absolutely true

>>524113035
I was born late 80s, and had a rough go of it due to being antisocial, disagreeable, rebellious. Women are conformists and punish unusual boys. I always disliked them too. Getting a gf and becoming a sexhaver required almost heroic concentration and courage.

Yes the overall vibe was significantly more uplifting than now, but if you are on 4chan, don't kid yourself. You would've found yourself at odds with the NPC cattle at any other time, with only narrow specific avenues for you to succeed.

Accept your fate
>>
And truth be told, if I could go back in time to one place yeah I'd go to somewhere close to 1800 USA, and not just for the black pussy you could buy at a literal auction, but those fuckers had legal 100% pure cocaine and heroin sold at the pharmacy, not laced not cut with anything. You come home from work, you fuck your black bitch or bitches and just blast some heroin/cocaine mix you got on your way from the pharmacy for the common cold. It was a completely bonkers time period.

*to clarify, I always disliked the WOMEN too.

This

If you spilled spaghetti it wasn't experienced 2nd hand via video or instant updates to every peer. Media cultures weren't too niche for white America so you could talk about the big videogames and movies with others. Watching TV was something you'd invite friends over for. Alcohol and tobacco were more normalized and you could get drunk if you felt awkward and go smoke or find a cig if you wanted to leave. Porn wasn't forced in everyone's minds. Immigrants would try to assimilate and accept the L if they were being cringe. It was ok to take jabs at others. Our communication was valued more and we weren't reachable via email, text, and social media. We would go to clubs and pay to make calls and send letters. Everyone had a home. It only took a year or two to afford a small home working full time.

Porn propaganda, housing affordability, and the alienation of people in their own culture shaped every personality to be a bit more hostile and desperate. You could afford college and be confident in your future. The list could seriously go on much longer
>>
>but what about muh white and trad christian wife
What if you couldn't get one? You gotta do what you gotta do, today you can't even do that
>>
>>524113035
no, it's just as easy now as back then. the number of adult incels was probably the same, 1-2%.
the difference now is they get to vent their frustration in internet circle jerks and that gives them the impressions there's a lot more of them then there actually are.

Imagine if women only had their immediate social group and family to seek consensus from, and not ....

the entire, fucking, global population of women with devices.

In the 90s you were basically dragged into pubs and clubs to socialise and we were all smoking and drinking by 15-16 at the latest. To be honest I always hated socialising and I am much happier to be older living in a ruined broken society where there is no pressure to socialise at all.

damn, it starts trending upwards right around iphone premiere and myspace users peak in early 2008

>computer, make correlation with the representation of women in niche leisures before 1993 and after 2011
>>
>>524113035
It's easier to socialize when you're attractive. There were far fewer fat gross disgusting ugly people in the '90s. Now everybody's other fat or a jeet which is like a thousand times worse than being fat.
>>
>>524116941
yeah the 90s were kinda shit but, still people socialised with strangers more readily even if it was some elevator chatter, which feels somewhat distant and weird now. mid 2000s we saw online gaming, group chats that were actual group chats and voip calls/chats but also, it was normal if you didn't have a decent PC or internet and sometimes you'd be like 2-4 people hanging out in a basement or someone's apartment and the whole online thing was like secondary. Or you'd bullshit in person about someone's myspace page or post flipping through a 1987 toyota owner's manual.

>>524116806
Honestly wasn't that bad, I guess it depends on the local scene. I noticed alcohol consumption went up after the Epstein induced market crash of '08 maybe everyone felt like a loser especially when all the messaging was aspirational and materialistic in nature and by 22 all you have to your name is being ranked 2398th in Call of Duty. The helicopter beanie stapled to your scalp.
>>
People were a lot more violent in those days which we need to go back to. You zoomers need a fucking beat so badly.

>>524115327
I’d stay up all night on the internet and fall asleep during class. Everyone just assumed I was a druggie, because that was more attractive than a computer nerd back then so I just went with it.
>>
>>524115725
This is bs, there was no shortage of porn back then. Play in the woods with friends find porn. Walk along a major road you’d find some of the filthiest porn tossed from car windows. Friends whose parents had black box descramblers, if you weren’t over there for the Tyson fight it was the porn. If any adult mail ordered porn they would be mailed a barrage of catalogs filled with snippets of hardcore porn. You couldn’t exist in America by the 80’s without encountering porn way before it got to the internet. And you’d jerk off with your friends to all this found porn and it wasn’t gay. But nobody will mention that part.
>>
>>524115030
My wife and I were talking about how the ability to have your life ruined because someone took a video of you enjoying yourself and then choose which part could be the most interesting to post. We drank and partied and like anon said, you could be desperately trying to shove the spaghetti back in your pockets and it was a minor setback that you learned to recover from. I live near a major college campus and everyone just looks at their phones, no one’s talking g to each other, even those that are clearly walking together. No one smokes anymore which surprisingly has changed socialization. O one drinks anymore. The camera phone has destroyed our youth. I’m hoping the pendulum swings back and kids begin to reject it.
My buddies just opened a really small bar. It’s NO cellular phones allowed. A 1950’s early 60’s dress code. Two cheap beers on tap. A few cocktails available. Vinyl only. Cash only.
>>
>>524113035
yes.
even I had dates and friends.
>>
>>524118259
Don’t be a faggot. If you can’t realize the difference between finding a Fredrick’s of Hollywood catalog in a sewer drain and me sitting on my toilet jerking off to a face fucking compilation, you’ve got issues.
>>
>>524115221
Ok, Spengler
>>
>>524113035
No social media, you actually had to talk to real people to get your social fix, not anonymous chatrooms and mentally ill echo chambers
>>
>>524114933
Yet you dont provide a counted argument even on an anonymous forum. How pathetic and weak can someone possibly be?

Yes. People's brain wasn't dopamine fried by the internet, so they understood how to talk to people.
>>
>>524116333
Red alert was 1998, right?
>>
The guys who created internet did so because people weren't connecting anymore. Industrial revolution and jews have uprooted before long before.
