Israel is not committing a genocide. It is ethnically cleansing Palestine -- getting rid of a population that has been problematic to them for generations by forcing them to go elsewhere. Genocides kill hundreds of thousands in months and millions in a few years. Israel has killed like 100,000 in two years -- not a genocide. And the "authoritative" definitions that conflate ethnic cleansing with genocide are motivated by bias -- a humanitarian bias to condemn all ethnic cleansing, even though it's sometimes needed to clean up an area demographically so people can on both sides can live better when the weaker side is made to uproot and pack up, and the condemnation of all ethnic cleansings, even the productive ones, is rooted in an equating of ethnic cleansing with extermination ("genocide" means killing off a genetically distinct or racial group). Israel is innocent of genocide, despite the charges of the antisemites, and is committing a productive ethnic cleansing that would of course benefit the Israelis, the stronger side in the conflict, but also benefit the Palestinians by sending them to a place where they aren't unwanted because they aren't constantly attacking and harassing a group they despise that lives right beside them. Ethnic cleansings can be good; our ancestors did them just as all peoples did in the course of time -- and will again someday as the need arises. Separating groups that hate each other and whose differences are irreconcilable is not a bad thing at all, despite the initial pain of the forced relocation.
