I don't understand the enthusiasm for high density urbanism online. I live in an apartment building now. The noise and the reduced privacy fucking sucks. I want to move back to a single family house but I can't afford it.

>the enthusiasm for high density urbanism online
poor people promote this
>>
It's cool if they're built smartly and your neighbors aren't niggly wigglies

i hate living in an apartment but the apartment i live in now isn't too bad, all things considered. i have one fag retard neighbor who plays video games or something with a subwoofer on friday and saturday night that's annoying. other than that you can't hear shit. the apartments are soundproofed reasonably well.

apartments and high density housing is viable for poorfags. it just need to be done right. considering jew real estate developers can't do anything right, except under the threat of physical violence of shekel confiscation, minimum standards for soundproofing should be passed into law. also blacks and mystery meat immigrants should be segregated into minority majority apartments.
>>
>>524120710
>The noise and the reduced privacy fucking sucks
noise doesnt affect normies since they dont think at all they only react to stimulis, same reason why they hate being alone. they go crazy when there is no noise or no one to gossip with.
>>
>>524120710
The ultimate consumer loves this. High density urban planning gets them closest to the most *insert product here*, examples like entertainment, barcades, stores, etc.

For those of us who want to sit, reflect, and not consume 24/7 city life is not for us. The feminization of men draws them to the urban center for food, shopping and consumption.
>>
>>524121123
>It's cool if they're built smartly
It s never the case, it s always made as cheap as possible with retarded design that tell a lot about the country. Here is France, it tells that we never wash hands after taking a shit or piss. It also shows that we we are not supposed to cook.

>The feminization of men draws them to the urban center for food, shopping and consumption.
the vast majority of "high power" jobs, whether individual contributor or leadership, are located in or near cities.

While I would give anything to live on a small farm, apartments are not an inherently bad idea. Apartments which are spacious, well-insulated and maintained transparently are perfectly fine places of live in. Unfortunately, rarely if ever such apartments exist outside of luxury condos.
>>
>>524120710
family oriented places can be bitchy and gossipy i can see why leftists dont like them
>>
>>524121340
I want to be able to listen to music and run on a treadmill.
>>
>>524120710
Elites want us to be slaves and live in small cages for them to make more profit
>>
>>524121421
Hence the insulation part.
Paper-thin commieblock walls are a no go. Not for heating efficiency, nor for noise insulation in either direction.
>>
>they want you to live like cockroaches in an ant farm
>the average retard loves it

its the same situation with those fetish townhouses. people love being connected by their ass to people around them. its a cockroach fetish.

we are doomed

Because giving every person their own single home just isn't viable. There isn't enough space in cities for that, and cities NEED a high population to support themselves. As cities get more expensive to live in, large single family residences become too expensive for people to afford.

Owning your own house is sweet. But owning your own condo is still better than renting an apartment, because being a renter all your life prevents you from accumulating wealth, its a debt you're never allowed to pay off.
>>
Neither, i made the mistake of taking a 9 month lease as my parents are doing renos, shouldve just risked the fines and lived off my bicycle down in the states instead. All valid reasons described in this thread.

Never again parents>tent>death>apartment

who told you this? is it the overlords? its because of morons like you (literally) that keep spreading this propaganda that we are forced to live in a barrel like fish

Theres tonnes of free land up here we could be doing earthships on, age of biowarfare after all, its national security to decrease density

Was 10 bucks for 60 ha

Land isnt the problem

Developers thinking its okay to "just force the tenants to have their thermostats on so the pipes dont freeze" on sub arctic plains so the first power outage destroys the building is negligence
>>
>>524120710
its more the atmosphere. of course it would be great without the noise but the sights and sounds add to the appeal of the big city and suburban areas.

>being a renter all your life prevents you from accumulating wealth, its a debt you're never allowed to pay off
rent has to be charged and rent has to rise. the cost of taxes, maintenance and insurance for the landlord all rise with real inflation, and the landlord's profit is the rent minus all those costs

and so passing the burden of that inflation to the tenant class, the modern day rams of Babylon, is why people say it is better to own. renting is a kind of debt peonage and a kind of watered down slavery. its a thin slavery because you have the right to say no to the transaction, but its slavery all the same. no matter how long you pay the landlord, you will never acquire anything except the obligation to keep paying others

is rent theft? this depends on the frame and the idea that we make it:
>No
is that youre free to go live in the woods and starve to death if you really dont like working. and so yes its theft, but the alternative is the raw elements steal even more from you. and so the lesser theft is more comfortable than the greater theft. this is the default of existence

a man on a deserted island will die if he does not work every day which means in regards to the simulation of the universe, life itself is a theft from the simulation, or conversely, the simulation steals free labor from life in exchange for survival

as a member of the owner class i reap the money fountain that spills forth according to my will. if you wish to stand on my Earth, you must tithe unto me a quantity of money every time window

you will pay me simply to exist
>>

it's possible provided that births are capped at exactly replacement rate, immigration does not exist, and that employers are penalized for artificially concentrating jobs in urban centers.

this is all to say that it's effectively impossible.
>>
>>524121822
How do you think physical space works? Take new york city and start replacing high rise buildings with suburban homes with yards and see how fast you run out of places to keep people.
>>
>>524120710
Apartments can be comfy, I lived in modern one without any human garbage while I was in Uni and it was nice. No noise, no niggers

>>524120710

No problems here if you got the property by paying 100% or from a loan with 100% reserve requirement

Going cyber cromwell on your ass though bitcoin will take the place of your fiat mortgage system. As china says homes arr for living and your money should be in a factory producing farm tools, growing the pie, instead of extracting it with rent

Even adam smith is on my side
>>
It's very comfy. Of course westerners live in nigger infested areas and can't walk home at night so I understand wanting to move to shekelberg's suburban bonanza.
>>
>>524122427
How do you expect bitcoin to function long term after it reaches the point where new bitcoins are not being created at any significant rate as the computable phase space is exhausted, but old bitcoins continue to be lost forever when people die without giving up the decryption key to their wallets?
Bitcoin exists on borrowed time.

Yeah, density living is a special kind of hell.
>>
>>524120710
i don't understand the appeal of being surrounded by dirt and the things that live on/in the dirt
i live in a suburb, everything is far away
i want to live in the city but can't find any vacancies
>>
>>524121699
This is why cities are and always have been shit. Only an insane person would live in a disgusting hive
>>
>>524120710
A big part of it is that cities are where you get a high density of people which means a lot of votes. All the voters are in the city so if you want to win elections you need to appeal to city people. This moves the society constantly to the left as people in the city are literally incapable of surviving without socialism and gibs. Everything gets built in the city. They get all the hospitals, police stations, fire stations, roads etc.
If you live outside the city you get to eat shit. No roads, no hospitals, fuck you. The people outside of cities get abandoned and as time goes on they get abandoned so much they may as well not be citizens, they are just abandoned people living in the wasteland. This means small towns die out and everyone moves to the city. City grows, have to pander to city voters, city gets more shit. This goes on and on until the cities become unsustainable and the entire thing collapses.
This is also what killed the birthrates. Cities always have shit birthrates and it's always the rural places supplying the country with people. As you abandon the rural places and they lose people to cities, no one has children anymore.
No sane person looks at their 1 room apartment and says ''hey, I should have children!'' Except retards and niggers, so you the lowest scum breeding which only accelerates the downfall of the city.
Every major city has gone through the same cycle and eventually collapsed.

Women are drawn to urban center for food, shopping, and consumption.
Men are drawn to urban centers for women.
>>
>>524121421
If you lived in a walkable city you would have live music venues and gyms, eliminating the need for those things in your apartment. In a real society the apartment is simply a home base to sleep and maybe cook breakfast, before you go experience real life outside. You're not supposed to spend your life in the tiny box anon.
This is why so many Japs in Tokyo and Chinese in their mega cities are fine with their tiny shitty apartments. They do not live their life in the box. They just walk out their door to an enormous, safe (no niggers), city with infinite things to do.
>>
>>524120710
I live in an apartment now and I literally cannot hear my neighbours, there is no noise, I barely meet anyone in the building, I walk barefoot at 3am to the vending machine downstairs and I have a tram stop supermarket pharmacy train station within 200m from my house, supermarket and tram being 20m from my door lmao.
>>
>>524121292
> It also shows that we we are not supposed to cook.
I think your gov it s doing it s best to tell you that you should not farm either

Mostly offchain signatures with credible institutions. What moves by block are the diffs on that

Yeah, not the decentralized dream, but as weve seen with monero, anti asic measures are cat and mouse
>>
>>524120710
Apartments are pretty private if they're made of concrete like Soviet Commie blocks. The problem is shit 2x4 capitalist construction which has zero soundproofing to maximize profits
