It definitely feels worse than it's ever been. I'm kind of an old fag, crack came out when i was a kid, and although at the time it seemed fucked up it did burn itself out. Crack went hard at the end eighties and then the first two years of the nineties, and then sort of strangely in about mid 92 pushing into '93 it just seemed to diminish, slowly but noticably. Somehow, what we have today feels different, more endemic, like there is more societal decline. We seem to have swelling ranks of permenant homeless drug addicts encamped in every major city center.
