And the horrifying thing to contemplate is their power and having to confront the fact that this organization must have had a lot to do with our garbage treatment. Both of my grandfathers were Shriners. All the women going back forever were Easter Star, etc, etc. what did it all get me? Treated like scum and a pariah in my own country. I don’t think my grandfathers would approve of the contemporary Fraternity. I think they would be quite ashamed of it, desu. And that is why no one is joining. We feel completely betrayed by them. And judging by circumstances, it appears we have been. But we don’t hear them any malice. They’re just one among many institutions and organizations devoted to our eradication and destitution…churches, civic groups…you name it…courts, police, academia, medicine…all of it arrayed against us. All of it associated with that Fraternity. Albert Pike would puke if he saw this. And we’re supposed to join such an organization? Are you people crazy? lol. But the first organization to embrace us, give us preference and serve as our community will benefit immensely. Otherwise, we’re not interested because we know it will be a demoralizing operation.
