Why don’t we talk more about Russia’s Muslim population? There’s far more of them than there is any other European country.
They've always lived there. Ziggers just expanded their territory
>>524137667they're not really muslim. they ask them their ethnicity and if they put something like Tatar then they are labelled as Muslim even if they're basically agnostic Russins to anyone else, like in Turkey.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kCgN2EY-44g
>>524138055>they're not really muslim.they are quite elusive, Tatars, Bashkirs etc. the women don't seem to wear hijab, they don't seem to eat halal, they drink alcohol, they do not seem to pray 5 times a day, no sunnah like beards, mosques are like churches like museums or community centres. of course nobody asks whether they're sunni or shia like Azeris who don't seem to do anything islamic either. there is a whole infrastructure required to be muslim that they don't seem to have because of communism which is why it's hard to pinpoint them when usually it's easy with muslims. but they are Turks and Islam has a unique history there too. it seems unlikely most o them even speak their Turkic languages like Bashkir or Tatar which would be similar to Kazakh. all they have are their annual costume festivals so that is how they are always identified.

It consists of several types of religious architecture including an Orthodox church, a mosque, and a synagogue, among others. It is currently under construction since 1992, started by local artist and philanthropist Ildar Khanov[1] (1940 - 2013). The structure now serves as a cultural center and a residence for Khanov's brother and sister, who both continue to serve as guides and supervisors of the complex.[2]>Khanov was known for his efforts in the treatment of alcoholism, drug addiction, and various other addictions.[1] His patients helped him to maintain and develop the Temple, either by direct involvement in the construction work or through sponsorship
