I think I've figured out what the plan is. Most people are expecting there's going to be some hot war like the invasion of Iraq in 2003. Maybe it will happen, but I'm starting to think it won't, because it would be more trouble than its worth and they could instead achieve the same result in a easier way.

A year ago when Assad's regime collapsed it took everyone by surprise, myself included. And that's because it happened so suddenly and abruptly. When you looked at the maps of Syria Assad's forces had most of the country under its control, but maps like that are misleading because they don't show what a terrible economic state Syria was in due to the sanctions and the fact that the "moderate" rebels were in control of the oilfields and the like. Without a functioning economy a regime can just easily collapse like that due to its inability to pay its soldiers. Soldiers who aren't paid aren't going to fight, and that's why the rebels in Syria just advanced without any opposition.

So I think the plan for Venezuela is going to be something like that. It will end up being a win-win for Trump, because on one hand by not doing some shock and awe invasion like Bush did, he could still claim to be a peaceful president who deserves a nobel peace prize because he never started a war, though technically by blockading the country and seizing their oil tankers that is an act of war all the same, but most normies can let that slide though.

Venezuela has been in bad economic shape for the last 20 years to begin with, but their ability to export oil is the only lifeline that keep's Maduro's regime going. By seizing these oil tankers, Trump is cutting off that lifeline, and the Maduro regime will wither on the vine. Trump doesn't need to do anything further than keep up this pressure and eventually it will collapse.

Nevertheless, it is an act of war what Trump is doing. But if it doesn't involve dropping bombs or boots on the ground, most normies let it slide.

No you are spouting turkish delusion; Bachar's forces, as well as the Rojava's forces, are still repelling and knocking down the disgusting turkish scoundrels and the rebs, from Manbij to Qussayr, and Swueida to Baniyas and Quneitra.

Furthermore, the US and the maghwar are still deployed in eastern homs and other areas.
