EWS has so much detail I overlooked initially. There are some great threads with analysis on /pol and /x that will be helpful if you are truly interested. I don't think Kubrick was a good guy but I think he revealed too much with this movie, and that got him killed. Maybe he did it out of guilt or a sense of remorse.
