World went from living in the real world to living on the internet and got phones, the development was radical.And companies loved innovating all kinds of wacky shit to see what would work.What innovation has happened between 2008 and 2025?Only thing that has truly changed, is that very recently we got AI and robotics are taking off stronger than ever before. Both things are going to be world changing within the next 10 years.But if we take that out of the picture and look at the time period, there's basically fuckall that changed technologically, aside from hardware becoming more powerful.However the lack of optimization made a lot of things evolve backwards in performance and UIs got absolutely raped due to mobile users, so the performance increase doesn't have that big of an impact. Also the modern need to change everything every month to keep investors interested, which inevitably leads to constant enshittification.
